wouldn't it be funny if Ville Valo really was gay?
all the faux- goth girls being in love with him and he turned out to be a screaming bender, that would make my year if he was
Yeah, that would be funny as hell. It woulden't suprise me if he were though.

Lord Abortion 07-16-2005 03:24 PM
what? Ville Valo isnt gay?!?
I don't THINK so...

he could be, mind...

Illmatic 07-16-2005 03:52 PM
I agree with all of those except Rock. He's good, but he's not Top 5-good.

I think you're still the person I agree most with on stand-ups, though.

And I disagree about Rock, but comedy is more subjective than probably anything. Who would be your #5, while we're on the subject?
Saw an unusually high number of Scrubs episodes yesterday, and the last one (at 3am) depressed me slightly.
Haha, I've seen more Scrubs than I could ever want to...my gf loves that fucking show.

Chris: Dang, that's rough. I wish I could add something else, but I legitly cannot. To just give you no real warning, too. That's harsh. Family just shouldn't do that to each other.

I'm stopping by for a little bit...I spent the day with my dad's side (the black side) of the family, which is cool because we just bust each other's chops all day.

BludgeonySteve 07-16-2005 03:54 PM

Yay for Slug. Boobies avatar>weird green thing

Shattered_Future 07-16-2005 03:55 PM

I watched WAAAAY too much standup yesterday (if that's even possible).

They all seemed to feature guitars in one point or another in their standup routines. Twas pretty interesting...funny, too, some of the "lyrics" to their songs.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-16-2005 03:56 PM

Scrubs is a pretty funny show. The only part that I can recall of the top of my head was something that went like this.

Guy talking to someone-My hands were dry, so I used some of this lotion
Girl enters: Why does it smell like Vagisil in here?

Lord Abortion 07-16-2005 04:00 PM

Hell, I REALLY love Iced earth
NP-desert rain

I am also on page 331 of the new harry potter

I read stupidly fast

Dried Muffin Remnants 07-16-2005 04:02 PM

Harry Potter couldn't have been any more cliche.

BludgeonySteve 07-16-2005 04:02 PM

I haven't started yet and I don't plan on finishing it for a week or so.

Stoic 07-16-2005 04:03 PM

Harry Potter is evil. All loyal christians think so

I liked the Da Vinci Code. Cant wait for the movie.

I love Dr. Cox, personally.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-16-2005 04:12 PM

I started reading The Davinci Code, but I never fell into it. :-/

Is Dr. Cox the white guy, Ray? or the bl..er guy with the mole.

political correctness++

Oh, nvm. He's the older doctor, right? I've not see it in ages.

Dr. Cox = the curly-haired/permed guy who calls Zach Braff "Newbie" (and calls him a woman and such) and the blonde doctor "Barbie"...also his wife/ex-wife (I dunno which it is) on the show is Kate from "The Drew Carey Show"

The old doctor is Dr. Kelso, the black doctor is Turk

/knows more about this show than he would like

clearvision 07-16-2005 04:15 PM

I bought the book when i was rat arse drunk yesterday, which was quite amusing. While in the queue i voiced my opinions on all things harry potter, and some other stuff too

/sad

what a way to end a drunken birthday celebration hehe...I'm not far into it, 50 pages? 4th chapter?

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-16-2005 04:22 PM

Did you get some cool stuff for your birthday Rob?

Illmatic 07-16-2005 04:23 PM

clearvision is named Rob too? That's three MXers named Rob.

TheDMV 07-16-2005 04:23 PM

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-16-2005 04:25 PM

Who's the third, other than noidd?

YDload 07-16-2005 04:31 PM
I still need to buy it.
Not anymore :)

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-16-2005 04:37 PM

Dammit YDload! You ruined the ending for me!

:upset:

When Halo 2 came out earlier this year, you know, everyone was into it and stuff. This guy told me that the Spartan guy dies. Man, I remember I wanted to kill him for ruining it for me, then I beat it and found out that he doesn't die. refl@me
Who's the third, other than noidd?
Humor99

I never really got into Halo 2...the missions where you had to play as the alien were spectacularly retarded.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-16-2005 04:41 PM

Yeah, it's really not a great game. I can never get sick of the multiplayer gameplay though. It's pretty fun. What do you like as far as video games, Ray?

lol nba live 2005

Lord Abortion 07-16-2005 04:43 PM

I love RPGS
and Jake, what were you on about in the ysi thread, about two minutes being fast?
I didn't get it...
your song is up too...

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-16-2005 04:52 PM

Never mind that. You responded in two minutes...Thanks for the song though. 9 percent so far. :-D What RPG's are you into? PC, or PS2, or what?

Stoic 07-16-2005 04:57 PM

RPGs are cool but it's so hard to find people and/or explain to them what exactly they're supposed to be :(

Lord Abortion 07-16-2005 05:15 PM

Any RPG really, I love all the final fantasy's for playstation and Baldur's gates on the PC, I have never really played an internet rpg like runescape or suchlike though- something I may do when I sort my connection out

Illmatic 07-16-2005 05:18 PM
What do you like as far as video games, Ray?
Safe to say I am not really a big gamer, I mostly like sports (stfu) and action games, like Halo and GTA and Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid (is those two really action games? I dunno)

BTW, ESPN College Hoops 2k5 > NBA Live 2005 :p

magicbus 07-16-2005 05:22 PM

Metal Gear Solid is awesome. MGS3 was the first game I got excited about in a while, as I've stopped playing PS2 in the last 2 years.

Illmatic 07-16-2005 05:27 PM

I forgot about Goldeneye on N64, that game was the shit as well.
