curbow . . . info@curbow.com . . .
I'd try Cort first, as it probably has people on hand to answer questions, while Curbow probably doesn't.

iceman3019 10-27-2004 10:06 PM

^^^

curbow does the custom job though . . .

PaulSimonon 10-27-2004 10:13 PM

Yup, but I'm pretty sure you'd get some kind of answer from Cort. Their name is on the bass anyways.... It won't hurt to try, although they will probably tell you to Email Greg about it...

Crapdragoon 10-27-2004 10:16 PM

bleeeee

so i wanna get a bigger amp i was thinking something atleast 100 watts, has anyone played the berrhinger 120 combo?

iceman3019 10-27-2004 10:18 PM

meh . . . i'll be happy with a non-custom cort curbow 6, since the only custom features i really wanted was a quad-coil pickup with coil splitting and an active/passive switch and an ABM bass bridge instead of the stock . . . i can make the upgrades myself really, or i can pay the guitar tech dude at guitar center to do it for me :thumb: . . .

Saitoku 10-27-2004 10:21 PM

Go Sox!

i own the fender rumble 100
its pretty good, depends on what you want to do though.
i play with a guitarist who has a 2x12 and i turn up my volume as loud as he does...if that helps.

ScorpSath 10-27-2004 10:26 PM

Stupid Sox!!!

Crapdragoon 10-27-2004 10:26 PM

can you be heard over a drummer ok?

PaulSimonon 10-27-2004 10:27 PM

I can with my 15 watt amp.

if you have to turn the volume knob over half-way to be heard, it's time for a new amp . . .

Crapdragoon 10-27-2004 10:31 PM
I can with my 15 watt amp.
liar.

iceman3019 10-27-2004 10:34 PM

he must get a boatloads of distortion then . . .

PaulSimonon 10-27-2004 10:35 PM
liar.
Nope. It doesn't overpower him, but I can be heard. It's rated very conservatively for a fifteen, blows my guitarist's 27 watt amp out of the water. Trace Eliott is the shit!

PaulSimonon 10-27-2004 10:36 PM
he must get a boatloads of distortion then . . .
Not too much, but yes, some. Not terrible amounts though.

iceman3019 10-27-2004 10:42 PM

when i turn my 10 watt crate mxb15 to be heard in my band, i can turn my boss odb-3 bass overdrive off . . .

ocdrumandbass 10-27-2004 11:29 PM

sometimes i get the feeling that my band is unbelieveably loud compared with some people here. we have two guitarists at 120W each, my bass at 170W and a drummer. am i missing something?

ScorpSath 10-27-2004 11:38 PM

I've been up so late doing homework haven't eaten and now yay, 4 hours of sleep! Nite mx.

iceman3019 10-27-2004 11:44 PM
