Yes well implying sarcasm over the net can be a bit of a slut sometimes, so don't feel bad.

Simpsons > Futurama > Seinfeld > Family Guy.

Cannot vote on Aqua Teen Hunger Force, as I don't have cable. :(

Oh you bloody Aussie. Shame on you for putting Family Guy and Seinfeld last...Just kidding, to each his own. No cable?

Riva 02-10-2005 05:51 AM

In Australia, free to air consists of 5 channels. Cable gives you the american shows, plus some British ones, etc.

*Casts level 5 breath of life*

*revives thread*

*thread topic is now haircuts*

ArcLite 02-10-2005 06:18 AM

Oh no...Haircuts. Well let me start this off since I have a strong opinion currently in the matter. I realize joining the Army was my choice, so I'm in no position to complain about any of the "known" bad stuff, such as haircuts. But let me tell you, the thing I despise more than anything here is not being able to grow out my hair and a beard. I can't wait to get out and just let it run wild.

Riva 02-10-2005 06:19 AM

Hehe. Beards aren't all they are cracked up to be, although they are good for a thoughtful tug.

ArcLite 02-10-2005 06:20 AM
Hehe. Beards aren't all they are cracked up to be, although they are good for a thoughtful tug.
Whenever I go home on leave I grow the beard out. I hope to someday have a nice Zakk Wylde style goat going along with long hair.

Riva 02-10-2005 06:23 AM

I look like Count Grishnakh right now. I must remember to take some pictures.

i_love_my_epiphone 02-10-2005 06:24 AM

ArcLite 02-10-2005 06:30 AM

I'm gonna start rocking some Jiu Jitsu probably next week. Found some place that teaches it, and better yet is free for military personel.

i_love_my_epiphone 02-10-2005 06:32 AM

Riva 02-10-2005 06:32 AM

I used to do Karate. Then I tried Judo and Tae Kwon Do. Just never had the discipline. :(

i_love_my_epiphone 02-10-2005 06:34 AM
I used to do Karate. Then I tried Judo and Tae Kwon Do. Just never had the discipline. :(
should try muay thai you dont really need discipline, just beat the sh!t out of people and in my case get the sh!t beaten out of :upset:

Riva 02-10-2005 06:35 AM

Hehe. Well, I am quite good at taking the hits. I just need to work on dishing them out.

i_love_my_epiphone 02-10-2005 06:37 AM

im usually awright at the hits just when you fight against an fighter/instructor who is preping for a fight they go pretty agressive, and knees are so sore

Riva 02-10-2005 06:41 AM

Hehe. Sounds good. I hear Tai-Chi is good for fighting, if you do it as a martial art, and not an exercise. There is a guy in Cairns who instructs people in it, I should take a look.

i_love_my_epiphone 02-10-2005 06:43 AM

Yeah ive wanted to do that but cudnt b arsed cause you dont hit stuff, you have to be doin it for like 10 years to be truely good at it, thts a long time

Riva 02-10-2005 06:44 AM
