Not much Cobert, yourself?

cobert 03-28-2006 08:12 PM

Nothing, thinking of bands for the non-pop-punk list.

The thing is, im picky about what bands i like. When I like a band, i like a lot of their songs. Im sure if you give me any band, ill like a few of their songs, but i wouldnt go as far as to say i actually like that band.

I'm not sure if I could name 20 or not. I would probably be just under, I usually stick with my pop-punk.

cobert 03-28-2006 08:22 PM

I have 14 right now.

:upset:

I'm not even going to attempt it, because I can predict a few of mine being rejected.

cobert 03-28-2006 08:29 PM

Now im at 18.

2 of them are a bit iffy.

Pazz 03-28-2006 08:32 PM

/sees your post in the other thread:p

The Leafs just beat Philadelphia 3-2. Too bad the Leafs have like no chance making the playoffs.

You better do it!

You don't really need 20, but as long as you don't go over it's cool.

Fine, I will get to it later this week.

Mute Print 03-28-2006 08:52 PM

That's cool. You have until Friday night.

cobert 03-28-2006 08:52 PM

Allright, i have 20.

Then i got bored and starting rating albums on sputnik.

EDIT: WHY DOES "ACROBATIC TENEMENT" BY AT THE DRIVE-IN ONLY HAVE A 3.9!????????!!!!

Its definitely their best CD.

Pazz 03-28-2006 08:53 PM
That's cool. You have until Friday night.
Sounds good, I will probably do it tomorrow since I won't have any homework.

Mute Print 03-28-2006 08:54 PM

Sweet.

I have a feeling this is going to be a bit difficulyt until we get past the nominations. It's going to be hard to narrow it done to 100 without more voters. At the rate it's going rate now, there's going to be 75 bands with 1 vote.

Oh well, I think I have a plan to fix it if that ends up being the case. After that, it's going to be a lot of fun.

Yeah, I will also help out doing some blurbs. Since there has been bands named that I enjoy listening to and could find some background information on.

Mute Print 03-28-2006 08:59 PM

Awesome. It'll be helpful if people do blurbs, especially for bands that they nominated.

People have already nominated some bands I've never heard of. :p

Yeah, I have seen a few bands, and I'm here thinking, "Is that made up?". All the bands I will name, will be known by all.:p

ATDI is overrated.

Pazz 03-28-2006 09:07 PM

I like ATDI. I don't listen to them enough though.

Someone want to do my homework? I need a page about how the women in Canada lived during World War One, and I know no one here will know how they lived, so I'm asking a stupid question.

Acrobatic tenement = AMAZING

And it has 'Initiation' on it, which is the best ATDI song ever.

I have it. I disagree. :)

But the best still isn't really that great. TMV is much better than ATDI.

Vey, very true.

They're from my school. Probably the best band out of the ones we have there.

Sweet. I wanna get a bass after I get a job so I can play that or guitar, then when I get the moolah, I can get a drum kit.

Permanent Solution 03-28-2006 10:36 PM

My school has like a million bands :-\

Drum kits are teh uber expensive. Good thing I already have mine O:-)

Yep.

JP: Animate

Our school has like 4-5 kinda known ones. 2 bigger ones. We only have 2000 in our school, and it's just highschool too.

I know, that's why I need to get a job. :(

Yeah, I want to learn all 3 so I can do whatever in a band. Or even better, play all 3 in a 1 man band. How insane(gay) would that be?

/imagines self sitting infront of drum kit with triple neck guitar

/:-\

Permanent Solution 03-28-2006 10:46 PM

My school has 55k students

Haha, I can't be a one man band because I can't sing :( I want to learn piano soon though.

BridgeToSolace 03-28-2006 11:11 PM

So I took a nap at 7:30, and I set my alarm for 8:30, thinking I'd wake up and then have a few ours to chill before I finally went to bed.

I just woke up :(

DJ Ducksauce 03-28-2006 11:13 PM
