dudes magrudergrind are so sick

RetiredAt21 11-26-2007 03:04 PM

We know.

Tyler 11-26-2007 03:04 PM

They're good.

RetiredAt21 11-26-2007 03:05 PM

Their split with Shitstorm is one of the best splits ever.

Dimmu Burger 11-26-2007 04:15 PM
i'd rather get robbed than have band members getting killt/dying like soilent green and nasum.

but thats just me.
I agree, but it still sucks to have all that money and stuff stolen.

Edit: Man it would be nice if Chad Kroeger died.

Most certianly

I got the new Trap Them EP.

Tyler 11-26-2007 04:59 PM

That EP isn't really grind at all though.

LifeInABox 11-26-2007 05:01 PM

Do you have it too, Coke?

Tyler 11-26-2007 05:02 PM

A digital copy, yeah. Concubine sent it to me. Good stuff, but I havent had the urge to listen to it much. Struck me as typical deathwish stuff.

RetiredAt21 11-26-2007 05:05 PM

Trap Them is kinda...I dunno. They sound awesome one song, and then the next one is really generic and/or mediocre and boring.

LifeInABox 11-26-2007 05:07 PM

What do you have of theirs?

RetiredAt21 11-26-2007 05:11 PM
What do you have of theirs?
Well, I had something downloaded, then I got rid of it.

i am the robots 11-26-2007 05:11 PM

Sleepwell Deconstructor is the perfect example of how hit-and-miss that band is.

RetiredAt21 11-26-2007 05:12 PM

Is that the new one?

i am the robots 11-26-2007 05:13 PM

Not sure. It's really back and forth though. Some of it is like, "sweet, sort of scenegrind but pretty good," and then some of it's like... "Botch clone but worse."

LifeInABox 11-26-2007 05:25 PM
Not sure. It's really back and forth though. Some of it is like, "sweet, sort of scenegrind but pretty good," and then some of it's like... "Botch clone but worse."
That's the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

And no, Sleepwell Deconstructor was thier first full length. Their newest EP is Seance Prime.

RetiredAt21 11-26-2007 05:27 PM

Oh.

LifeInABox 11-26-2007 05:29 PM

And they are both very good.

Concubine 11-26-2007 05:58 PM

um what

that album is grind-ish if i remember correctly

didnt hear any botch

i am the robots 11-26-2007 06:01 PM

Moreso it just sounds like a Converge clone, that was an outdated opinion having not listened in a while. I just relistened.

Concubine 11-26-2007 06:04 PM

hmm i would say yes and no to them being a Converge clone

yeah i can see them having some similar qualities to Converge, but maybe that's because they're on Deathwish as well.

i am the robots 11-26-2007 06:04 PM

I dunno, I saw a huge lot of Converge influence. I like that album a lot more than I used to, kind of put my foot in my mouth, eh?

LifeInABox 11-26-2007 07:57 PM

Well, maybe it's because Kurt Ballou produces all the albums?

i am the robots 11-26-2007 08:06 PM

Who the hell is Kurt Ballou?

LifeInABox 11-26-2007 08:33 PM

A cuban refugee, who else?

Concubine 11-26-2007 09:22 PM

ahahaha

RetiredAt21 11-27-2007 12:30 PM

Holy shit, the new Dystopia tracks are sweet.

Doop 11-27-2007 08:48 PM

Word.
New LP is going to ****ing rule.

Charizard 11-27-2007 08:49 PM

What else would you expect from Dystopia?

Doop 11-27-2007 08:53 PM

the new tracks are like Humans = Garbage era ****, but some how even heavier and more depressing.
