I wish dave would re-join the band. They might hit some form again.
That's what I've been hoping for!
Haters are retarded ey ? No my friend it is a difference of opinion.
Don't call me your friend

2muchket! 07-30-2007 03:12 PM

It's a turn of phrase. Like douche bag. Which you are for not having a tolerance for others opinions.

Burn dude, ouch

2muchket! 08-01-2007 01:43 PM

But yeah I was listening to Chuck today. Great album and is probably the better of the 2 'heavier' albums they did.

DJ Ducksauce 08-01-2007 01:49 PM

Hmm really? I hold DTLI as their best with AKNF coming in a close second. Chuck was alright, but a bit of a let down for me.

I agree with you

2muchket! 08-02-2007 08:43 AM

I haven't listened to DTLI in a while thats probably why.

But yeah nothing can beat AKNF.

I think Chuck was better structured and organized, but I thought DTLI was heavier in more of a raw sense

LadyMinazuru 08-12-2007 09:08 PM

I loved they're new album. Yeah, sure it doesn't really sound like the same stuff you would get from them. To me, it's sounds just like a mix of all the albums. I love it!

In the AP Magazine, it was just recent, they wrote this article in it about Sum 41's new album. They said "Deryck was unsuccesful with the lyrics" or something close to that. They were questioning it because after all those other albums it is kinda hard to take them seriously.

Urbreathsmells 08-31-2007 11:49 AM

Their new video for Walking Disaster is just horrible. I mean a robot... cmon. I'm honestly skeptical of how long they will continue to be a band. I mean I love Sum 41, I like the new album as well, but I think without Dave, they're pushing their luck and talent.

Bad Blood 09-11-2007 11:09 AM

nah, i think they're doing fine.

they dont need to be told.

they're doing fine.

the wont give you control

they dont need anything from you

they'll be just fine

etc

Yeah...totally, I knew that it was going to be about a robot for a long time before it was finished and I thought it sounded retarded...and low and behold, it surpassed retarded and jumped into another dimension, I love Sum, obviously we know this, but their music videos are usually too much to handle

poo-poo-pee-pee 09-11-2007 10:44 PM

Well. I think I'm the only one who liked it here.
It really emphasizes the fact that they don't take themselves to seriously, one of the many reasons I love 'em.
I though it was just a light-hearted, stupid video that they probably had A LOT of fun making, what more could you ask for?

billiejoe84 09-15-2007 05:30 AM

123 to that. And who cares if Dave isn't in the band anymore? Sure, it means no more Maiden guitar solos, but the songs on the new album are still good anyway so it doesn't really matter.

Ande12333 09-15-2007 09:53 AM

anyone got a link for the album?

poo-poo-pee-pee 09-17-2007 03:30 AM

You'd defiantly find it somewhere if you looked, I'm just too lazy to look for you.
They've got a few up on their MySpace, and all the songs would be on YouTube, both album versions and live.
Or you could invest in a copy of the album from your local music store, and laugh at all the random mistakes the printers/editors made in the lyrics.

you could ask for a video with some integrity and not a homo *** video about a robot that found it's way back to a toy store, I don't care if they have fun, they can make a funny video that is cool without making it absolutely ****ed and retarded

blinknullmiss6969 11-27-2007 01:09 AM

underclass heroes pretty good nothing beats chuck though one of my favourite albums ever

http://www.pullthecurtain.net ...sign up and talk about sum 41 and many other bands

Nutmeg 11-27-2007 01:30 AM

i like that song where they rip off metallica

its on the chuck album

its called the bitter end

poo-poo-pee-pee 11-27-2007 03:53 AM

It was actually a 'tribute' to them...
Ya know what sucks, Deryck's back.
No more touring 'til next year.
Which isn't actually that far away, but still...

poo-poo-pee-pee 12-10-2007 07:58 PM

He makes a good point.

KaNeYCaNeS 12-10-2007 09:48 PM

Banging avril would be fun...

Gonads 12-12-2007 11:37 PM

Yeah it would be a dream come true.

Erratic 12-13-2007 03:18 PM

She's not that good looking tbh

Gonads 12-13-2007 03:19 PM

But she's still good looking enough to plow all night and day.
She's not that good looking tbh
Each to his own.

Yeah, Sum 41. Good shiz, yo.

Gonads 12-14-2007 01:02 AM

Yeah Sum 41 is br00tal.

Clunge 02-23-2008 08:20 AM

So yeah, whilst drunk last night I bought a ticket to see Sum 41 tonight. They've always been one of my favourite bands if solely for AKNF and DTLI? (I really really do not like Chuck or their other new stuff I've heard).

Anyhoo, can anyone give me a rough idea of what I'm gonna hear?

Clunge 02-23-2008 06:00 PM

That were fun :).
