Weirdly enough, I checked out my friends Black Sabbath Greatest Hits yesterday and it has Don't Start (Too Late), on it...:confused:

I think the best sabbath song is wicked world off past lives. it goes for about 20 min, and every note is brillent. I have a new respect for tony iommi because of it. thats the problem with greatest hits cds, they never truly represent the bands talent :upset:

yea i too am ashamed a bought a black sabbath greatest hits (witch now that i look back was HORRIBLE) the only one that comes close is black box set........but it still doesnt represent past lives :lol: its a conspiracy i swear

Past Lives is the Live at Last album packaged with a bunch of other live songs, I really need to get myself a copy.

I have We Sold our Soul...and an old Greatest Hits on vinyl.

no i dont think so. anyway, greatest hits albums are normally just singles, and often the singles arent the best songs on albums, so the band often have better songs than are on the greatest hits albums.

Greatest Hits albums are normally put together by the record company, like sack-man said just of the bands singles.

The reason for not liking them is they don't really show off the full product of the band, normally the rest of the songs on their albums are better than the said ''Greatest'' hits.
