Sigur Ros. Just got the untitled album, (), I love it.

Bartender 12-04-2004 12:25 AM
They've dropped the "Jon Spencer" part for their new album.

I don't give a fuck either.
Really? Shame. Jon Spencer Blues Explosion was the second greatest band name the world has ever known.

Tapeworm 12-04-2004 12:30 AM

I agree.

Tangy zizzle 12-04-2004 12:30 AM

And the first being...?

Bartender 12-04-2004 12:37 AM

I seriously laughed for 5 minutes after I read this. Being 17 rules.

Tangy zizzle 12-04-2004 12:53 AM

Vincent Price was fucking mad.

They were mentioned in the Emo Thread in Other, so I guess emo/screamo/grind or something.

^About halfway down that page, and there's a song of theirs linked.

The Ashtray Girl 12-04-2004 11:09 AM

Today I listened to T Rex, The Verve and Beck. All was enjoyed thoroughly.

SirHaxalot22 12-04-2004 03:17 PM

i like "the faint" as of late.

Iai 12-04-2004 03:24 PM

KappaKid17 12-04-2004 03:27 PM

I borrowed "Now Here is Nowhere" by the Secret Machines from a buddy of mine and haven't taken it out of my cd player all day long. "First Wave Intact" is one of the best songs I've heard in a good while.

Happymeal 12-04-2004 04:07 PM
Vincent Price's Orphan Powered Death Machine
I'll have to find more songs from them.

Anyways I borrowed Wowy Zowee and bought Louden Up Now. Good times. Next up on my to-buy list is Damage and Grace Legacy Edition

Sisyphus 12-04-2004 04:33 PM

eyes adrift, the hummers

Iai 12-04-2004 05:57 PM

Right now, I am mostly digging Bill Hicks.

Comedy genius.

CarnageFairy 12-04-2004 06:55 PM

Can, T Rex, Stone Roses.

Tangy zizzle 12-04-2004 10:17 PM

T Rex are tops.

YDload 12-04-2004 10:30 PM

Rush used to open for T-Rex back in the late 70s. My mom saw them.

Tangy zizzle 12-04-2004 10:40 PM

Rush used to be crap.

Funny how a lot of things never change innit?

YDload 12-04-2004 10:42 PM

No way, Rush is still pretty good. I just heard "Working Man" on the radio and it was a lot better than their more popular singles.

He most certainly is.

I've only seen one of his stand-up shows. Revelations. It is bloody good stuff.

Tangy zizzle 12-04-2004 10:47 PM

He's dead.

biografiend 12-04-2004 11:18 PM

Citizens Here and Abroad. They have both a male and female singer, and remind me somewhat of Death Cab and some other band that i cant think of. Recommended song: Appearances.
He's dead.
Oh really?

Anyway, the last few days I've only been listening to Sigur Ros - ( ) and Air - Moon Safari and 10000 Hz Legend. 10000 Hz is an absolutely amazing album.

Tapeworm 12-05-2004 06:46 AM
