haha believe me i know, i grew up in lawrence kansas (aka home of the university of kansas). basketball's pretty much a religion here, not that i mind it

yeah no it's pretty sweet. I'm going to a game tomorrow actually, I'm on the drumline so I get to play at halftime n sh*t. It's a good time but the whole school really just loves to suck all the players' dicks lol.

Anyway I have very little fear of running into anyone from VU here. All the kids here have pretty poor taste in music. And everyone who actually has taste in music, i.e. the indie kids who just can't get enough Wilco, Sigur Ros, and Radiohead (not that there's anything wrong with any of that) and the five or six people who are into metal, I'm already friends with.
