Have you heard Dissection or Sacramentum? I get the feeling you'd like them.
Late post but I love Dissection although I don't listen to them nearly enough. Didn't dig Sacramentum when I sampled them but this had to be the better part of a year ago at least. |
Try Far Away from the Sun dude, if you dig Dissection and Emperor I don't see a reason you wouldn't like it.

Well just cuz it's symphonic black metal (i hate that term because there's no symphony involved) doesn't mean I'd like it. Nightside Eclipse (and Emperor in general) has such a unique riffing style as well as awesome production (rawer than your average musics but everything is clear and all the noises and **** actually produce a cool atmosphere that's not "my parents' garage"). As far as Dissection they're sweet but I don't think they're what you guys would call black metal? I will look into Sacramentum though...thought I still had some albums on my compy but I guess not. |
Nah. A few months before I was going to get tickets Tom Phillips from While Heaven Wept decided to hand over his position as vocalist to Rain Irving, who really is not that bad. Seeing Tom live was the only reason I wanted to go, and after he did that I really didn't see a point in attending.
Sucks, but I'm really excited for their new album. |
dissection and sacramentum are melodic death/black metal I guess
genres suck though
Nah. I had one of their albums but I deleted it when I deleted 3/4 of the music on my HD, I remember liking it though. |
This thread sucks anymore.

I dunno we don't really talk about black metal or jews anymore.
