The degree of shit albums released this year has been tremendous though. Most are debuts from bands found on Myspace just because they added more popular bands. It's ridiculous. There have been like 5 albums I've truely got into this year.

And sadly, no pornos for me

Third wave. Relativly new if possible. The more groove (and conversly, the less punk), the more likely I am to enjoy. I like The Gypsy Hill LP and How It Goes by Big D, and Reel Big Fish, and I like some mad caddies stuff.

You posted a link to the Flatliners in the ska thread. I dig them. Upload their album for daily uploads if you have it.

Hey, guys. What are we all talking about?

THe family cookout was fun. After that I took a run around a soccer field behind the house to work off the burgers and dogs.

Ooooh, I'll get in on this skasome. Ska always cheers me up and puts me in a happy mood.

I'm listening to David Cross at the moment, so I'm generally quite happy now too.

Lies.

Anyway, i'm bored and thought I would list some albums released this year that I enjoy a great deal, that non of you assholes would have heard; without further ado.

Witch - Witch

Project involving reunited Dinosaur Jr member Lou Barlow but he's back on the drums, which made me cream myself. Witch is a Black Sabbath style stoner/doom metal style shit, really fun.

http://www.teepeerecords.com/bands/witch/

Poison Idea - Latest Will And Testament

This album is a bit bitter sweet for me and most Poison Idea fans, Pig Champion died this year, all but a few months ago. Anyway great release, a worthy testament to the band and the memory of Pig Champion.

http://www.taang.com/poisonset.html

Red Krayola - Introduction

It's almost 40 years since their debut album was released and Introduction keeps true to form as a great album by the band. If you like experemental pop/punk/psychedelic shit you will like this, some of the best from the band since their early beginnings.

I don't like David Cross. He's just not very funny.

Ska can be sooooo good though. I can listen to the Gypsy Hill LP for hours. And How It Goes.

Jessizzle 07-01-2006 08:03 PM

I live for ska. honestly, without ska i wouldnt even know how to describe me.

BridgeToSolace 07-01-2006 08:05 PM

Jessizzle 07-01-2006 08:06 PM
