:amaze: 11-17-2004 09:18 PM

I went to this place that had like 7 cars that I liked that I'm going to look at/ drive tomorrow. These are the ones I remember:

1998 saturn sc2, low mileage
1998 pontiac grand am gt, loaded
2001 chevrolet cavalier
1998 chevy malibu ls, low mileage
1999 (?) saturn (don't know what kind...)
2000(?) oldsmobile alero

There was one or two more, but I can't think of them right now. All of them were similar prices (under 4000$), but I only saw them in the dark, but at least one of them will be awesome enough to be mine tomorrow!

(input?)

I went to a bumper car lot ... and was looking at them, until I realized that they can only run when there is the electrical ceiling thing ... so I couldn't drive it on the roads and stuff... :upset:

I told you Grand AM, and I'm sticking with it. It's a great car, man. Trust me.

Hovers around $1.98 a gal in Boston, which I think is like 4 L for all you metric folk. I wish the US used the metric system. It's so much easier...maybe that's the inner scientist in me talking.

Yeah, that's probably the one I'd take if it were just that easy. My dad is a used car nazi though ...

It has 112,000miles, and it is a GT (meaning I'm going to go too fast and get a bunch of tickets  )

But it is loaded. Factory moonroof, tinted windows, power everything, cd player ... the works.

But the one with the best gas mileage is going to have the smallest engine, and be the slowest :p

Around here (Michigan), gas is $1.79/gallon, which is much better than it has been recently. I agree that the USA should convert to metric, though.

Hmmm .... good point. I'll definately look into it.

Also, I'm already pre-approved for a 4000$ loan at the credit union, so I am pretty much all set

mmmm electric cars are powerful beasts

Left Shoe 11-17-2004 09:27 PM

i will, at the audition today i told the guy i had lost the solo i had prepared so i learned the one i was playing in two nights (but of course i didnt , i just totally forgot about the audition until monday)

bottlerocket 11-17-2004 09:28 PM

I see...well, I still think it's an awesome starter car.

And I definitely think we should convert to metric. The majority of Americans are too lazy to learn it, which is sad. I think we should just convert overnight. BAM!

(sarcasm of course  it would never work).

in grades 6-8 i played clarinet for music in school when i was forced to take it. i wasn't too bad, but i don't think i could play it anymore.

It isn't really a 'starter car,' as it will be my second. I'm hoping for it to last me through college, which would be nice.

that is a bargain! in australia, it is about 1 dollar per litre, or about 2.96/gal for you strange folks.

Foxfire 11-17-2004 09:31 PM

Gav, you know how you said you don't like Ibanez and Yamaha for moderate and beyond basses?

The Yamaha Patitucci Signature better be amazing. Know why?

I'll give you a hint.

It's price tag has 4 digits, starts with a 3 and ends in 0.

Foxfire 11-17-2004 09:33 PM

It's about $2.04 a gallon in Chicago.

Premium is $2.27.

Bleh.

Actually, I think it would even be more than that ... closer to 4$, but I'm a dumb American and probably wrong...

So gas money isn't really as much of an issue, plus I don't drive it a whole lot, just around town pretty much.

Oh, there is.

1 mi = 5280 feet
3 ft - 1 yd
12 in = 1 ft
2.54 cm = 1 in

I associate Luke with being an awesome player and a great guy, Ted as being someone to talk to, e p as being someone to talk to and relax with, Radio as being the nice guy, etc.

Meh, who cares, really. :p

^ Dude, didn't he invent the superman philosophy (if man rejects his notion of a God and the assumptions of all religions, he can become a "super man" because he'll be limitless in his thoughts and ideas)? Correct me if I'm wrong...
