Ellen at least tries...

Ant's a complete hack. But shhh, don't say that in public, because then you're homophobic.

Homos are so gay...

Moses 07-15-2005 11:36 PM

What is up with your spamming?

Dried Muffin Remnants 07-15-2005 11:37 PM

Yes, yes they are...

This is late, but Moses' GF is teh hawtness.

Anyways, I got my book finally and am going to read it now. Good night everyone!

EDIT: I despise recent George Carlin. He's such a cranky, mean old fart. Back in the 70's he kicked so much arse, but now he blows.

Has anyone seen that Irish funny man Dylan Moran and his show monster. Thats are bloddy giggles.

i am the robots 07-16-2005 02:24 AM

Dude, tonight was ****ing ridiculous. Me an my friends are hanging out at the local video game store, cause our friend works there, and some rich scenester/thuggs come in, yes, scenester thuggs. They start talking about how good GTA is because of violence when they see us playing an RPG on the TV, wow, way to make an invalid point shitface. They then see that I am wearing an Opeth shirt, and inform me thatthey saw them at the Sounds Of The Underground Tour and that they were terrible, and the one kid is like "What the fuck they're from Sweden. So I was just like "Yes, they are Swedish, woopity doo, that doesn't change the fact that they own all," and the kid is like, "They fucking blow," and at that point, my friend who works at the store puts in Deliverence and the kids start talking more ****, this time their serious! So Trey tells the most ghetto of them "You look like a twat with your rhinestone earings, did mommy buy those?" and the kid is like "Your ears are too big for earings! I'm from the hood! I've been to Harlem," so Vince tells him "Dude, your a spoiled 12 year old rich kid, and you claim to be a thugg, your so cute," and then they're like "You're gay! Dying your hair black!" I might at Vince has had black hair his entire life. And then out of knowhere some kid tells me, "You look like some kid I know," and I was like "OK then..." and he was like "He's a bitch!" and so I responded, "He must be a handsome bitch if he looks like me," and the little brat is like, "You're gay, why are you judging the way he looks! He's another dude!" and Vince says, "So what he can still say whether he's good looking or not," and the kid asks us, "Are you gay?" and I respond, "Only for you fruitloop," and then they left. We then went to Subway, where they followed us and continued to harrass us, until Ryan told them he knows kickboxing (which was just a ridiculous claim to **** with them), then the one kid was like, "We weren't trying to start anything," so I told the little twat that his stupidity was killing my brain cells, and that he should shut the **** up, they then proceded to run away, the little pussies.

Illmatic 07-16-2005 02:28 AM

Note: paragraphs are our friends.

Steerpike 07-16-2005 02:31 AM

I'm so sorry I didn't get more in on the AFI thread before it was closed. Apparently, no one ever told Hethamulburton that:

1. Brevity is the soul of wit.
2. If you're going to lie, make it believable.

On a lighter note, Steerpike's Spotlight #12 will be up within the next hour!

i am the robots 07-16-2005 02:33 AM

Haha, sorry Illmatic, I'm just kinda tired, so I made a lot of typos and such.

Interesting...

i am the robots 07-16-2005 02:41 AM
Sounds like fags looking for some fun. Which is what you gave them.
They were seriously some of the dumbest kids ever. Trey said something moderately witty and made the one kid look like a douche in public, and the kid was like my sister tells funnier jokes.... I don't understand dumb people....

i am the robots 07-16-2005 02:45 AM

You need to understand that they were making comments for around 5-6 minutes before anybody said a thing to them.

i am the robots 07-16-2005 02:52 AM

They were affecting buisiness, and they were talking ****, and we wanted them out of the store, then they followed us when we left, blarg.

Steerpike 07-16-2005 03:16 AM

Correction, it's going to take a little longer to get the spotlight up. I was almost finished typing it up, when I told the task manager to close my media player because it wasn't responding. In a rather spectacular kamikaze move, it also obliterated my two internet windows and nearly forced my computer into a restart.

So I'm starting from scratch.

i am the robots 07-16-2005 03:32 AM

Same thing just happened to me when I finished downloading and In Flames demo and uploading an Underoath song at the same time, my compe completely fagged out.

Stoic 07-16-2005 04:03 AM

crashes aboslutely suck and I get at least two of them every day :upset:
What band are you doing Steerpike?
How are you guys liking the new season?
wholly disappointed with the new family guys. I would say out of the ones i have seen, maybe 1 is up to regular family guy standards, maybe.
My dad rented Team America the other night and made my grandfather watch it. I walked in during the sex scene, and my grandfather was laughing pretty hard.
yet another reason why trey parker and matt stone are comedic geniuses.
Anyway, I think that Comedy Central Presents is my favorite show atm. It's a good variety of good clean standup, and then a couple guys that get pwn'd by the cuss filter. :p
One of my favorites is actually an odd choice, and one most people havent seen. It is the CCP of Ardal O'Hanlan. Played Father Dougal McGuire in the irish sitcom Father Ted, who also happens to be one of the funniest characters ever made.
Hicks
Bruce
Dangerfield
Kinison
Carlin
I would have to say for me it is, in no particular order: Dangerfield, the dice man, eddie murphy (his standup from the 80s was genius), Carlin, and Steve Martin

Arucard 07-16-2005 05:31 AM

Hey dudes, i got Senses Fail : Let It Enfold you for abit of Pop-Punk action, and its suprsingly really, really good. Best album i've heard in a few months, easily.

And my post count increased because i merged ThE_B.P.C with my main one.

Bartender 07-16-2005 08:31 AM
Hicks, Pryor, Carlin, Black, Rock

Those are my top 5
I agree with all of those except Rock. He's good, but he's not Top 5-good.

I think you're still the person I agree most with on stand-ups, though.
Am I the only person here who isn't a very big fan of Mitch Hedberg? He can be funny, but he isn't a "OMFGZ HE IS THE FUNNIEST GUY EVER!" comic
I'm not that much of a fan of his either. He is good though. On a related note, I do sometimes feel like I'm the only person who can't stand Dane Cook, though.
Yeah, Dylan Moran's a funny guy. Good stand-up, and Black Books is a great show.

EDIT: Ardal O'Hanlan is good, too.

RE: Harry Potter. I'm a big fan of the books, but not the films. Got the new book this morning, but rather than reading it in one day (or at least one session) like I did with the last one, I forced myself to put it down and spend some time online after the first two chapters.

Also, madey, if for some reason you don't check Banning Enquiries, you're already unbanned.

TheDMV 07-16-2005 08:54 AM

Hello, everyone :D How are you all

Bartender 07-16-2005 09:07 AM

I'm alright. Saw an unusually high number of Scrubs episodes yesterday, and the last one (at 3am) depressed me slightly.

I'm okay now, though. How are you?

I like how he believed what he said and thought he knew what he was talking about.

Also I checked it out and read the biography and its good. However, the links weren't working for me at the time but I will check it out.

EDIT: About the comedian talk Mike Berbiglia is a really funny guy if you can get his humor.
