boil him, mash him, stick him in a stew?

Jev 11-16-2005 10:05 AM
Happy, in exactly 24 hours from now, you will be recieving an e-mail from Jeremy with further instructions. If you don't recieve an e-mail in that time, you will instead recieve one in exactly 48 hours. If you recieve nothing at either of these times, then you will have no e-mail sent to you. The timing of these actions are key, and each outcome is significant.

You will understand in time.

Oh well, been fun knowing you guys.

Jev 11-16-2005 12:55 PM

I know it is, but it's no fun when you can imagine what you want to make but not draw it.

IAJP 11-16-2005 12:57 PM

I'm listening to some classic hardcore .

Also, I'm thinking of what to choose at AS Level...

Methinks so far (order of preference):

Psychology,
Biology,
Sociology,
Chemistry,

AND, the extra "maybes" are:

Government and Politics,
English Literature.

Debate on how good / bad my descisions seem to you..

Spectrum 11-16-2005 12:58 PM

You know what? I hate to be completely off-topic, but today, I just can't seem to get over how freaking amazing Godspeed You! Black Emperor are. Completely freaking genius music. Oh man.

3 sciences? Wow.
So far I've got
-History
-Chemistry
-Maths
-Music
I don't know what to put down as maybes.

I haven't heard any, it's post-rock isn't it?

Well anyway, I'm listening to John Peel's favourite band, the Fall :).

3 sciences!?

Sociology is a science too!

But I just figured that if I choose these for A Level, I don't want to waste my two years at college, I want a qualification that will help me get to were I want to be. Saying that, I actually want to be a Clinical / Child Psychologist.

But yeah, you do know there is an intense ammount of coursework for History? :p

Refl 11-16-2005 01:04 PM

GYBE are genious.

I've been bingeing on Katatonia lately. Lovely dark and groovy swedish metal.

Jev 11-16-2005 01:06 PM

Yeah it's 45% or something. I'm willing to do it.

Spectrum 11-16-2005 01:07 PM

GY!BE was, on first contact with WMP, labelled as Neo-Classical/Post-Rock, and I have to give it credit for trying. They are a unique brand of instrumental Post-Rock, and they consist primarily of a tactic of slow builds and releases over long periods of time. Sometimes they have monolouges. The music is often very stark, dark, and their albums tend to have an underlying atmosphere of unpleasantness, or rather discomfort, that can result in very terrifying moments and moods.

Brilliant stuff.

Refl 11-16-2005 01:08 PM

Since we're sortof on topic.

Do politics at A level if your teacher is good.

Avoid Maths, its hard.

IAJP 11-16-2005 01:11 PM

Yeah, I'm in top set maths, and you only need a 20 out of 100 to get a C.

A 20, a ****ing 20 for christ's sake.

Jev 11-16-2005 01:12 PM

I don't know about Maths, there's nothing else I want to do. If it's diffuicult, I'll give it up after the first year.

IAJP 11-16-2005 01:17 PM

If you're taking a Science (Chemistry, in your case) it's really best to take two, as they support each-other.

Do politics if you want to write huge essays and remember loads of facts.

Do maths if you CBA to learn loads of stuff, since most of it can be derived from other simple equations.

I did both and found Maths to be a lot easier in the long run, was also less stressful...

Brew 11-16-2005 01:44 PM

Don't do Physics.

IAJP 11-16-2005 01:50 PM
Don't do Physics.
