Old People Syndrome.

RobNY 03-30-2005 08:48 PM
Did you see him at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame show? He was sportin' the "Unplugged" hair. By the way, the Buddy Guy, B.B King, Clapton jam was awesome.
Yeah, I caught that. Heh, good stuff. I randomly saw it was on, and made sure I caught Clapton.
He's going to immediately lose all of his talent now that he's 60.
That's fine by me, as long as he's giving it all to me.

My grandfather is in his 70's and can rock out on a piano better then anyone I've ever heard.

pigonthewing82 03-30-2005 08:55 PM

Clapton is the man, hes going to die with a guitar in his hands, whitch isn't really a bad way to go.

Me too. I like his hair on the Crossroads dvd.

I don't listen to CCR much either.

xxxRoCkJuNkiExxx 03-31-2005 02:12 PM

Why don't you listen to CCR much? They have a lot of awesome songs.

Yea I like a few of their songs, but I don't really like most of their stuff. My favorite is Badmoon Rising. That's catchy.

jpj 03-31-2005 02:36 PM

I got their greatest hits for Christmas, but I still haven't listened to it. I listened to a couple songs that I liked.

EDIT: PPL that is.

I'm going to die the same way.

RockAndRoll 03-31-2005 03:22 PM

This off topic but have any of you hear Peter Cincotti's St. Louis Blues?

magicbus 03-31-2005 03:44 PM

I have not.

I'm enjoying Abbey Road.

Until I listened to it all the way through (which I'm doing now), I didn't really like it. But its actually very cool. Really cool.

Yeah I liked it more after I listened to it in full. Though most songs I liked or didn't mind hearing out of order.

Distant Echoes 03-31-2005 04:09 PM

I find it hard to enjoy any album listening to it randomly.

Abbey road is one of my favs...but far from #1

JonG 03-31-2005 06:04 PM

Sgt. Peppers is a good listen through. It has great lyrics, and a couple of the songs are about school :\

To the newbie poster.....

Is Pusher on that Steppenwolfe CD? I love that song, best song of theirs I've heard so far.

McMurphy 04-01-2005 12:10 PM

Hello everyone. :)

I have really been getting into Classic Rock for about a year now. Though I'm into other genres also, I'm prodomenatley a Classic Rock fan. Lately, I have been getting into Blood, Sweat and Tears, Dr. John, The Band and The Grateful Dead.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 04-01-2005 01:24 PM

Good enough reason

Is it impossible to listen to classic rock and not be called a hippie? Methinks it is
