You could get one for half that on Ebay if used isnt a problem for you. You can even get a low priced Russian which in my opinion is so much better, but if you can try both.
I did get Russian... I was pretty sure I paid too much, but I had to buy it, it's addicting.

peeted 11-17-2004 04:50 PM

i dont think i have given out a single rep point and i havnt realy got that many either

FUNKNBASS 11-17-2004 04:51 PM

The Russion is wonderful, I love mine. The funny thing is that the American one is usually more expensive. What did you pay for yours Paul?

PaulSimonon 11-17-2004 04:52 PM

Hey Fox (And anyone else), how did you get a start on tapping?

neal_672 11-17-2004 04:52 PM
The Russion is wonderful, I love mine. The funny thing is that the American one is usually more expensive. What did you pay for yours Paul?
I've always found that weird, the Russian is cheaper than the American but better

Regarding Tap: I dunno i just kinda tried once, think it was with Muse - Butterflies and Hurricanes... I'm not very good at it though, need some tapping songs to learn.... Currently trying to train up my little finger to get used to tapping...

!!! Russian Bassballs, no reseve. Current bid is $0.99

Paul: I learned how to play the Country Music intro about 2 months into playing. After that, I attempted a bunch of other stuff.

I'm pretty sure it was 85$.

To add on to the tap thing, how can you get it to sound less stacatto?

Foxfire 11-17-2004 04:55 PM

How about the Russian Big Muff Pi? I'm thinking of picking up a Big Muff Pi to cancel out the digital Digitech XBD I want to get. :p

BassVirtuoso 11-17-2004 04:55 PM

I don't even remember who anyone is. I'm getting old.

ScorpSath 11-17-2004 04:55 PM

Sorry for ignorance, but what are bass balls what do they do?

risbo 11-17-2004 04:55 PM
Do you mean, like, double stops?

Or the supposed "real" definition of chords? ("3 or more notes put together")

Rep+ for trying out something new.
Three notes together when I can. Otherwise I geuss they're really not chords... But still awesome to play with.

risbo 11-17-2004 04:56 PM

Effect filter. Apparently, it has two dynamic filters inside it.

Do you have the American or the Russian?

ScorpSath 11-17-2004 05:02 PM

Russian is the way to go x er7447373828828

neal_672 11-17-2004 05:03 PM
Do you have the American or the Russian?
Russian, it has a warmer tone than the American, the American is a bit tinny and clangy for my liking. The Russian comes heartily recommended though, top notch pedal :thumb:
