So Decrepit played a new song for the first time tonight called Symbiosis, was great. They played a few old songs, and a handful from DBW.

yeah, KOTA is way better for real

considering the majority of their more 'serious' (musically speaking) material was written over a 3 year period, you kinda fail at making a point

as for shades, it's not really more than circle pit music, if you've got the formula down right you can **** out fun as hell albums

I listened to some shades in the car, nothing stands out expect for the vocals. Everything else is painfully mediocre.

So did you watch Animosity on the stream (on that website I will not mention again until Oct. 17)

shades is just badass, its not supposed to be anything 'stand out'

"Mock The Cross" on Bloodbaths Myspace homepage is really good... reminds me a little bit of Morbid Angel (the slower part); I like it.

That song is pretty good but the album is boring

I don't really like Bloodbath so I don't think I'll get it.

I don't either but I got it anyway. It's bleeehhhhhh.

bloodbath's last ep, their demo, and some songs on their first two albums are awesome, but it just seems like they're trying too hard to just write death metal and not write actually good death metal.

The EP was pretty solid but nothing amazing, I haven't heard their other stuff aside from a few songs.

Although I really like the new album, I have to agree with Elim in that I can't listen to the whole thing at once without getting bored (about the new album).

also, imo, the best aspect to bloodbath has always been the vocals

I don't understand why Mikael's vocals on the new Bloodbath are like 10000X better than his growls on the new Opeth though.

I like the new bloodbath, I agree that its sort of a snooze fest after a while though

it doesn't beat the new Arghoslent or Dead Congregation's Graves of the Archangels for dm of the year

except the dm album of the year is gonna be the red shore's new album
