I agree. My Ibanez is just no match for my mate's RRV.

Poofy 666 03-30-2006 10:40 AM

Jacksons ftw. I have a Warrior and a Rhoads.

/feels special

Invicta_Veritas 03-30-2006 11:00 AM

I have a bad habit of buying cheap (or new brand) guitars and putting a bunch of expensive sh*t on them....... I bought an Ashland for $136 and put 500 into it so far.............sounds sweet though.

kurrpt 03-30-2006 11:04 AM

im completely the opposite. I buy expensive guitars and leave them 100% stock

Jev 03-30-2006 11:06 AM

I buy cheap guitars and leave them as they are.
Because I'm poor.

Mr. Black 03-30-2006 11:06 AM

I do want a Jackson, either that or Hannemans Esp

eh, im pretty poor too, i just have a nice arse setup

i attribute it to never going out, and constantly trading up for better. Then again, im also the master at finding deals

I have to at least improve them because I need them to sound halfway decent.

I absolutely hate Ibanez guitars though. Their basses are alright though

i am the robots 03-30-2006 12:28 PM

I'm glad to see I got all of this Ibanez discussion going.

Holy wow though, Journalism = absolutely ridiculous today.

Unfortunately I feel like total ****.

kurrpt 03-30-2006 12:30 PM

Basically:
seeing crazy older brother for the first time in like 4 months yesterday + having to go to school sick + rejection = bad combo.

kurrpt 03-30-2006 12:36 PM

rejection?

as in from ur bro, or Nichole?

Steerpike 03-30-2006 12:47 PM

It seems I'm having a bad week. In addition to last night's disappointment, I got violently ill at 4 in the morning, and only just woke up, meaning I've missed two classes.

And my stomach is still in such intense pain that leaving the house for my last class makes me want to go back to calling Ralph on the big white phone again.
rejection?

just a bunch of such happenings, also Nichole = Trev's fiance, nothing to do with me.

damn man, was it something you ate? you've been having bad luck with that

11teen : ma bad

i am the robots 03-30-2006 12:51 PM

Yeah, no worries, it just sucks cause I had a chance with the girl for about two months and I blew it.

Steerpike 03-30-2006 12:51 PM
damn man, was it something you ate? you've been having bad luck with that
I guess. There was this one potatoes recipe with a lot of vinegar that taste kind of off.

I went drinking with my friends after dinner, but I only had one Sam Adams and a Woodchuck cider, which I know is not enough to get me even slightly drunk. So that kind of rules that out.

kurrpt 03-30-2006 12:52 PM

what happened? waited too long and she was bought up huh?

i am the robots 03-30-2006 12:52 PM

Alex, if it makes you feel any better, I was up all night throwing up, and when I asked my mom if I could stay home she yelled at me for keeping her up.

Che, exactly what happened, worst part is that she's now after one of my best pals.

i wouldnt think vinegar could do that, at all...

then again, i washed my mouth with apple cider vinegar for the first time a week ago, and i thought i was gonna vomit

11teen : I wouldnt worry about it too much bro. Consider the fact that I broke up with an ex a week before the prom because i heard she was just going to use me until the prom was over. A pre-emptive strike if you will...

At prom i had to sit next to her, which was fine because i was totally loaded, but here my "friend" and her were inseparable for the entire night.

Needless to say, i havent talked to those 2 for 4 + years

i am the robots 03-30-2006 12:55 PM

Did I mention that the same situation happened with a different girl and the same friend last year?

Steerpike 03-30-2006 12:55 PM
Alex, if it makes you feel any better, I was up all night throwing up, and when I asked my mom if I could stay home she yelled at me for keeping her up.
That really eats.

Anyway, I'm going to go finish cleaning the bathroom if someone hasn't take care of it already. I did the best I could last night in my zombified state, but when I say violently ill, I mean violent.

kurrpt 03-30-2006 12:57 PM

Damn!!

thankfully i havent had to deal with that for some time

11teen : next time bro, dont fukking second guess her or your intentions/motives/etc. Just jump at the oppourtunity, and if you get shot down, at least you know for sure :thumb:

Lunch 03-30-2006 01:30 PM

Yea definitely go for it. The thing I really hate the most in tough situations is when you find your self in a position after you missed an opportunity and where you keep wondering, "If only I had....", or wishing you had taken a chance but didn't. That hurts me more than getting shot down straight up.

kurrpt 03-30-2006 01:33 PM

definitely....

i mean, i still do it, all the time

Sleepy 03-30-2006 01:34 PM

I definitely second Che and Lunch on this one - I feel tons better if I try and fail than if I don't try at all. Also, if you give it a go, at least you have a chance at it - if you don't, then you're 100% fucked.
