when i came into this forum i idolised mr J, but i listened to advice in the forum and to other drummers, and then realised that he really wasnt anything special. i still look up to him as a musician since he is better than me, and i love both slipknot and the murderdolls, but i dont cum over joeys "amazing skills" any more

I never got spanked by my own parents.
But probably because I was an abnormally docile child...atleast compared to my sister.
I did get my butt whooped with a yard stick by my cousin's fat mom. I didn't even do anything. My cousin pushed me off a tire swing so I kicked her in the jaw. She deserved it, but aparently not according to her Fatty McCow mom. That was the same b[B]i[/B]tch who sat on me and made me pee my pants.

I just got done watchin some sean rickmen videos on drummerworld. Watch his video then go watch the jordison solo. Thats the comparison, he blows plain and simple no matter what excuse anyone uses. "he's in a metal band!" So what? Gene hoglan was in a metal band too and he kicked *** and played with dynamics, groove and feel. He simply isnt a good role model for the aspiring drummer.

Joey did that for me, so I figure if I get at least one thing from a drummer, then that's pretty good from my point of view.

There are many other good drummers out there, but meh, whatever.

I used to like the Murderdolls. Infact, I remember thinking Joey was hot.
I also liked Korn, KiTTie, Disturbed, Marilyn Manson, Cradle of Filth, Otep(I still kind of like them, but only because she's a queerbag), SOAD, Limp Bizkit, Mudvayne, Mushroomhead, and almost every other awful Nu-Metal band in existence.
No friggen clue how it came about, when I was raised on jam bands.

Dont let it get to you, we really have NO IDEA how much time and effort is put into creating attrative bands like that, geared only toward catchy tunes and not MUSIC. The lack of replayability is a convenint way of getting you to pick up that NEW cd, just like the old one.
