If you can't play that then play Final Fantasy III or Super Metroid.

I tried metroid for the first time ever a couple months back...couldn't really get into.

Idk if I have the patience for an RPG either I've tried playing FF3 so many times and get bored of it after 2 days of playing.

Tales of Phantasia is a sick rpg idk if should try that one again

FFIII blows Tales out of the water. Tales is just another typical Jap RPG, FFIII is timeless.

I like it because then if they ever (god forbid) make a sequel on a new-gen system he doesn't have some stupid ****ing voice like Mario. I can't imagine what voice Link would have now if he talked.

And yeah Super mario rpg is my favorite video game ever I play through it at least once a year since I was in 3rd grade lol

the idea is that it's supposed to put you into the shoes of the character, so the game doesn't really want to "speak" for you per se.

it's why a lot of the final fantasy protagonists don't talk, nor does link

edit - final fantasy was a bad example, actually. golden sun is closer to what i'm trying to say
