The Ibanez I just bought is a mahogany body with a wenge/bubinga neck.

Gah, I have to put my chicken nuggets in for like 15 or 20 more minutes because I forgot to defrost them before putting them in the oven.

A bubinga neck? I thought it just looked good....

gaslight 10-27-2004 11:29 AM

Well the neck is like, split between wenge and bubinga, like how it has lines of them.

PaulSimonon 10-27-2004 11:30 AM

That's what I figured, I think it's called a laminated neck? I don't know...

bottlerocket 10-27-2004 11:44 AM

:insert comical connection between spam and nuggets here:

Well anyway, I'm going to the Celtics game tonight. But we all now the Sox are going to win the World Series tonight, too. So after the game, guess who's totally going into Boston with Pete and Conor after the Sox win the Series and break the curse...o_O.

Don't expect me to be on tonight, I'll be rioting in Boston
we decided the name is gonna change after every gig , just to keep it cool and intresting
From a marketing point of view, that's not such a good idea, forging a good name is one of the most valuable things on earth right now.

junior year of college or hs???

We've never had essays that were supposed to be longer than 2 pages...
they all just had to have 5 paragraphs, a thesis statement, and a bunch of other jazz...

I'm a senior...

12th grade english is all english literature...

bottlerocket 10-27-2004 02:03 PM

^ High school...I hate history. Chemistry/physics/math is where it's at, yo (this explains my title  I'm too big of a nerd, but I don't act like it, so I guess it's OK...opinions?).
12th grade english is all english literature...
I'm assuming you did Beowulf, right (If you don't know what it is, it's OK. You'll eventually get to it...or at least you should, since you're studying ENGLISH literature)? If you didn't, read it on your own time. It can be pretty boring and dull, but it's the foundation of horror in literature (or at lest English/American literature). We talked about it in English the other day. It was the best English class I ever had. We discussed the horror genre and its progression from Beowulf (which I brought up because no one knew what it was  I thought it was popular) to today. It was amazing. See if your English teacher will bring that up. We talked about Beowulf and Godzilla to Evil Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Army of Darkness, and all the other classic cult films.
