haha. Remember that joke..
If you had a disabled friend, Jack, and he was riding a horse, but he wanted to get off the horse.. would you help Jack off the horse?

Sorry..

Just ignore Focker's posts if you don't like them dude- and we all have bad grammar. You correcting him was a comma splice anyways.
It isn't his grammar. It's his logic. But whatever, I'm done.

FockerTheLopper 01-17-2006 12:28 AM
You are one funny man. Hell, if I could wade through the sentence fragments and poor syntax, I might even laugh once and a while.

We saw where you are coming from. Unfortunately, that involved cheating in relationships and condescending judgements.
OMG. NO, its not. Its coming from that we're too fucking young to be with one girl for god knows how many years. Now, I'm not judging you in any ways because I don't know you, but I'm pretty sure that you don't love her, not yet at least. If you want to be a one woman man go for it. Thats not my scene yet.

Agreed.

Anyways, I think I'm off to grab a snack and get to bed. 'Night.

Sorry, just had to add this in. I do believe your initial statement was that cheating on a girl would help in the long run, because then you would have more trust? Something to that effect.

Now, it's really time to hit the sack. Nighty-night.

Dude, even I have dropped this. You wanted to stop the hate...now stfu.

derryk 01-17-2006 12:31 AM

Well he could love her. But I mean, he's basically spent 1/4 of his life liking the same girl.. I don't know if that's good or bad.

Let's stop talking about this shit though.

aznriceball 01-17-2006 12:32 AM

I'd rather seclude myself from this discussion.

I just found my 5th class: Intro to Psychology. Afternoons on monday and wednesday, with at least an hr and half before and after my other classes. Ratemyprofessor has high marks on the professor, and the class is a 400 person class in the middle of campus. Not too shabby.

styler 01-17-2006 12:32 AM

derryk 01-17-2006 12:38 AM

Mhmm.. and what happens if someone's on your buddy list?

Motleyguy 01-17-2006 12:38 AM
i can that he posted, it doesnt show what he said though.
but his dumb****ery borderlines entertaining sometimes. You miss out, but then again, you gain more than you lose.

edit - anyways, nobody answered my question awhile back about fear factory's drummer.

aznriceball 01-17-2006 12:43 AM

iv listened to some fear factory. seemed pretty standard to its genre, but i liked some of it. at least it wasnt chaotic enough for any of my non-drummer friends to notice :p

Futuro 01-17-2006 12:44 AM

The only problem I have with fear factory is the repetative riffs. Besides that the band seems ok.

Motleyguy 01-17-2006 12:45 AM

ah yeah. I dig them, but alot of the time, especially on the uber fast runs, the double bass sounds sampled. Curious if anyone has any thoughts on this.

Futuro 01-17-2006 12:46 AM

Motleyguy 01-17-2006 12:47 AM
The link didn't work for me, but i found the trailer here:

http://www.joblo.com/index.php?id=9951

That's one of the movies i'm waiting for.
I loved the style Equilibrium had and i'm a big fan of those cyberpunk/dystopian scenarios; i'd say we share the love for Blade Runner here, that movie is on the top of my list aswell.

If you haven't already, check out Phillipp K.Dicks "Do androids dream of electric sheep". This is the book the movie is based on, i enjoyed Blade Runner even more after i read it.
There's alot of philosophical stuff involved; Descartes and his work (hence the similarities to "Deckard") being one of them.
still have to read it but i`m a big fan of Dick's work in general. I have tons of books I still want to read but plowing through Dan Simmon's Hyperion & Endymion books at the moment :) (link works fine over here btw :S) I've also got some Asimov books on the "list", can't wait, hehe.

Blank 01-17-2006 10:49 AM

Bah I missed HoMoPhObE's Barker and Jordison threads :upset:

Bub 01-17-2006 11:17 AM
He uses triggers.
Yeah that's how he gets that sound. I love his drumming, as much as I dislike the band. His feet are really good, one of the better double bass drummers. never boring.

styler 01-17-2006 12:16 PM

do you guys think fear factory would be worth downloading or is just another band?

Blank 01-17-2006 12:42 PM

I went on the main site and I still don't know how to change my name :(

CasB 01-17-2006 12:44 PM
do you guys think fear factory would be worth downloading or is just another band?
Yeah it's worth downloading :)

Hm, the link works, but i always get an error message that says the file is either not available or has been disabled by the content owner

I currently read Otherland from Ted Williams and i will start to read some clasics after my exams, probably some Asimov too (already ordered "the complete robot") :chug:
