actually I ended up with Thurston Moore.

Lips were amazing, and the rain stopped on time. They did a cover of War Pigs for an encore which was great. Sadly, the Sonic Youth sort of sucked ***. They had almost no one cheering for an encore.

It's quite funny to compare drinking cultutres between countries. I'm chummy with a few yanks who live here and they really can't drink to save themselves. But, it seems that there isnt as much binge drinkin' done over there - it's more social lubricant or something.
