As long as you're open minded and try lots of new music then you'll find something you like. There is so much music out there its hard to not like at least some of it.

i made the same mistake when i first heard them, which is so easy to do since the guitarist has some technical ability. Any merit given to Sleep Terror for this is instantly revoked based on their lack of musical talent though.

Sleep Terror is from around here. I almost was their bass player, but I couldn't because of school.

They suck, but I kind of just wanted to go tour.

I don't even think they're based in California anymore.

great art i just hope they live up to focus as best as possible (because i know that isn't entirely possible) and don't go in some new age direction. basically i don't want aeon spoke material to spill over into cynic territory.
and has anyone heard Tymon Krudenier's band Exivious? both of their demos are cynic tribute band status but very good stuff. they even go as far as to use almost identical robovox on the first demo.

It's got a few albums in its way, but overall 2008 is really starting to let me down.

I think 2008 is great so far tbh, and a lot of stuff is coming out in the next couple months which is gonna rule

The start of the year was incredibly awesome, but this summer just has been pretty dissappointing.
