TojesDolan 03-29-2006 11:41 AM

I like Trivium but I dislike the vocals.

Maybe we could make a club or something.

"Good Music, Horrible Vocals, Even Worse Shows!" club.

kurrpt 03-29-2006 11:57 AM

i seriously thinking about bribing someone to go see Dragon Force in Philly with me

:upset:

TojesDolan 03-29-2006 12:17 PM

Get a hot girl to go with you.

You know girls get turned on by flashy solos, high-pitched vocals and bands with "Dragon" in them.

:D

after taking my girl to gigantour, i REFUSE to take her to a concert again (unless its rap)

I don't know, they were really bad when I saw them with CoB and Amon Amarth, maybe it was just an off night for them...

i am the robots 03-29-2006 12:31 PM

They were playing well at a local show, Matt was slightly more on too, but then some kid spat in his face and he stopped playing and flipped out.

Jev 03-29-2006 12:32 PM

My oral presentation went quite alright. Even though I was nervous throughout and my voice was shaky I still managed it.

I had to mess about with a few facts. In America, countries with the Death Penalty have more murders than those without overall but thankfully Delaware had less than Michigan.

kurrpt 03-29-2006 12:34 PM

I WOULD TOO!

actually, id have him thrown out, laugh it off, and just play some hard core sh!t

consider Delaware is about 1/8 the size of Michigan

i am the robots 03-29-2006 12:35 PM

Why thankfully for Delaware? That's the land Pennsylvania didn't want, and not even Jersey wanted it.

Jev 03-29-2006 12:36 PM
Why thankfully for Delaware? That's the land Pennsylvania didn't want, and not even Jersey wanted it.
Because Delaware had less murders than Michigan. It must be a very boring place.

Is that why you'll never take her to another concert like that, or is there some other reason?

i am the robots 03-29-2006 12:37 PM
Because Delaware had less murders than Michigan. It must be a very boring place.
Delaware's a smaller state than Michigan too, or is it percentage wise?

Also, Delaware's not so bad a place, but it's really boring.

haha, nah man, give me SOME credit...

shes really doesnt like metal, at all. That being said, she basically drank about 70 bucks worth of my money (which i was ok with), made me leave during the second song of the headlineing band (Megadeath), proceeded to get me lost leaving Reading, and then cried uncontrolable for her "mommy" all the way home till she passed out

Looking back, it was hilarious, but i can guarentee ya im NEVER going through that again

It's per 100,000 people.

Ahh, I see.

/never been to Michigan.

There's not too many murders in PA, at least not to my knowlege.

Well outside Philadelphia.

kurrpt 03-29-2006 12:53 PM

idk, i lived in pittsburgh for a few months. Its not as bad as outsiders think, but then again, its not like i walked down alley ways in the middle of the night

i am the robots 03-29-2006 12:55 PM

Yeah, I edited out Pitt, it's not nearly as bad as Philly.

kurrpt 03-29-2006 12:56 PM

man, im sick of wearing girls socks

my girl just did my laundry yesterday

is this pathetic? They're just blue

Jev 03-29-2006 12:57 PM

I'm developing a liking for tight jeans :-/

Shred Danson 03-29-2006 12:58 PM

So one of my friends (well I should say "acquaintances") died yesterday. This was shocking. He was playing around with a gun and shot himself in the stomach and bled to death...horrible stuff...the irony is that last week the school did a (Baptist-tinged) "drug free" week and Friday did a mock trial/funeral for a student "dying" from a drunk driver, and they were making a big deal, saying "this could be anyone of you in that casket!"...it's just horrible...

This sounds horrible indeed, that's why people should never see guns as toys.

Well, as I should have said, I didn't know the guy TOO well, he was in my English and Business Math classes but got fed up with school and dropped out half way through the year. But nevertheless this is Ballard County where everybody knows everybody and everybody knows everyTHING about everybody...and he wasn't exactly using it as a "toy", he just...I don't know. Guess it just went off on him and yeah...it was weird because I remember seeing him a little while ago, all excited because he was out of school, and now look where he's at...but what can ya do?
