i LOVE maple fbs and try my best to pick up guitars with only maple fbs bc i like the way they look and they feel "softer" to me even tho they are a harder wood. rosewood feels really scratchy i dont like it.

unfortunately not a lot of guitar manufacturers make maple fbs on their guitars anymore, and if they do its for like, strat and tele copies. not really superstrats.

and before this year, no one really made any flashy guitars period. ibanez just came out with one RG this year thats yellow with a mapled fb, and esp has the mh-53 and 1003 with maple necks and tremolos, but nothing on the higher end.

Must admit, the Edge in my RG570 holds tune pretty well, it is just the Edge Pro on my RG1570 that seems to constantly do it. I actually found it interesting that after I set it up that only the high E and B string stay in tune through bends and whammy bar usage. I mean, I always try to throw it out of tune just to see it can withstand the extremes. If it holds tune, then it will have no issues holding while playing.


P.S. - I'm on my laptop, so if you see a word missing anything that is in the upper right corner of the keyboard... that is why.

I don't know why my college loves to pick on the engineering students, friggin always put us in the morning. Have to wake up tomorrow at 6 a.m. just to be to park/be where I need to be by 8 a.m. WHY? Why can't I graduate at like 3 p.m. like the bloody art majors?!

my graduation is during the hottest part of the day in may out in the sun. and the gowns are black.

Well last year it was shorts and uggs, sweatpants are in this year I guess. Seriously, I saw some girl last fall with a big fluffy white jacket, those stupid shorts every girl owns a pair of in the United States (if not the world), an uggs.

i find it strange that the majority of my school feels the need to go out in public in stuff that is barely passable as gym clothing.

i mean, its in the low 40's and everyone is still wearing gym shorts, they're just wearing two hoodies to compensate. norcal sucks.

in other news its nice to be done with school for a bit, yay. i love sleeping in.

if u go to a commuter college where most people travel there everyday, you don't have that problem :thumb:
