well guys im off to practice shaping necks. my customs should start happening in the next few months.
let it be known that my customs wont all look like my own custom, for those of you who dislike my body shape. |
Everyone ignores my chemical babble. :p
:thumb: -Gav |
Yes, but there's an intermediary product:
Iron and Sulfur combine to form Iron(II) Sulfide, a salt: 8 Fe(s) + S8(s) + heat --> 8FeS The salt is then heated so it decomposes: FeS(s) + O2(g) --> SO2(g) + Fe(s) That's a metathesis reaction. :p So yeah...that's how iron ore is formed...one way, anyway... :thumb: -Gav
i pretty much am in love with HCl tho. |
hey, hows it going?
|
hey, hows it going?
Hey, Kim! It's going pretty good. How's the Strife-action? |
hey, hows it going?
Hello. I love you. Won't you tell me your name? |
gav If I put HCl on Mg...the gas produced is hydrogen right?
|

aiight casual..im outtie night.
Hey, Kim! It's going pretty good. How's the Strife-action?
well....i got a new computer... actually laptop. It's quite hot background= cloud :D |
i pretty much am in love with HCl tho.
It's a strong acid. It's pretty cool...mixes with some pretty cool stuff. :thumb: -Gav |
gav If I put HCl on Mg...the gas produced is hydrogen right?
Not always...it depends. You'd have to look at the activity series. If magnesium is higher than hydrogen (which I think it is...copper, gold, platnium, silver, and those types of metals are below hydrogen), then yes, diatomic hydrogen gas is produces, leaving us with MgCl2. :thumb: -Gav |
well....i got a new computer... actually laptop. It's quite hot
Hello.
I love you. Won't you tell me your name?
/gets it |
Aaaand I'm going on my random chemical babbles again. :p
/ends :thumb: -Gav |
Aaaand I'm going on my random chemical babbles again. :p
/ends :thumb: -Gav
Chem was my best science, but I didn't take it in grade 12, for some reason. Instead, I opted for physics and almost failed. |
now children, we all know that physics > chemisty. /pissoffgav
although without one, the other doesnt exsist......... |

I was offered AP chem this year, but the teacher is a nazi. I hate it when really interesting classes are taught by bad teachers, turns me off of the subject isn't taking a science this year :upset: |
^ Chem >>>>>>>> physics
Physics is too bleh...I like chem. I love blowing stuff up and then explaining what happened. :D :thumb: -Gav |

isn't taking a science this year :upset:
Yeah. Good teachers can make a subject amazing, though. My Canadian History teacher last year was sooo amazing, and he completely made the class awesome (and trust me, Canadian history is soooooooooo boring). |

Higher level math and science classes at my school both have horrible teachers. One is smart, but never admits to being wrong and is very strict, the other is just a horrible teacher.

 "We found the country...we hunted for a bit...we're now industrial...we don't fight in wars...any questions? OK, class over..." ;) I love my AP Chem teacher. He worked in industry for a while and really knows his stuff...he's amazing at teaching. One of the best I've ever had. :thumb: -Gav |

Why not go blow it up with some fun chemistry? :D Although I do see your point...I like physics a lot, just not nearly as much as I like chemistry. :D :thumb: -Gav |

well I guess I'm out, this session on MX was shortlived...
later, I'm off to bed |

point taken. hey gav, if Uranium and putonium reacted, what would be the resulting compound name? |

You lie! ...it wasn't called the White House then...it was named the White House after it was rebuilt and painted white. ;) /pwned by technicality :thumb: -Gav |
point taken.
hey gav, if Uranium and putonium reacted, what would be the resulting compound name?
>_> <_< >_> It probably would, but I honestly have no idea. Hey Irish, explain the string theory in one sentence. ;) :thumb: -Gav |
