OK, right, so to the right of this window you can find more details about the upcoming shows, as in links to the venues and links to buy tickets. As we get more ticket links, we will be putting them up, so check back often. From the ticket counts so far, a good number of these shows are well on their way to selling out so please, please, please buy your tickets in advance. Too often after the shows we meet upset fans that couldn't get into the venue after driving for hours, due to it being sold out. Don't let it happen to you.

Our record release show/party will be in Boston on Nov 13th (the day the record officially comes out) so bring the champagne! Unfortunately the record comes out 4 days after our hometown New Jersey show... Well, we pulled some strings, begged, pleaded and we are super happy to announce we will be allowed to sell the new record at the Jersey show on the 9th (our beloved Starland Ballroom), four days before it's out in stores and on the web! To show our appreciation to our NJ friends we will be giving out a signed (by the whole band) poster with every single cd sold that night.

Next: yes, the first video off of SITB will be making it's debut soon, thanks for asking. We will be showing it here first, within the next few weeks. And of course it's not just us in a room, lip syncing to our own music (you know us better than that, don't you?). We can't wait to get it out there, should be a good time.

If you're interested in pre-ordering the new record, head on over to Interpunk.com. Ten bucks gets you the CD and some SM schwag. Here's the link.

Mmmm, what else... oh yeah. Here and here.

That'll be it for now.

Henrik 10-10-2007 08:03 AM

I love the sound of the new clips. Especially on Watch It Crash.

SkaRobotArmy 10-10-2007 08:39 AM

yea, i'm super excited, doug is nuts.

DougJI 10-10-2007 04:59 PM
yea, i'm super excited, doug is nuts.
dude, all the harmony vocals use the exact same interval and aren't very creative on any of the clips.

that's based on 1/60th of the album however, hopefully it'll be a bit spiced up for the rest of each of those songs.

SkaRobotArmy 10-10-2007 05:20 PM

i don't listen to punk rock expecting much creative...

AIRIC 10-10-2007 05:36 PM

This is Streetlight Manifesto...

Henrik 10-11-2007 10:47 AM

I pre ordered my copy already. I couldn't wait, and plus I get a fine little button too :)

SkaRobotArmy 10-11-2007 12:15 PM

was going to but then i figured i still have to wait for delivery then after it comes out, if i buy it from a store i get it that day.

Liebensaft 10-11-2007 06:49 PM

If you download it from the internet, you get it in (probably) like two weeks.

Henrik 10-12-2007 09:04 AM

I'm not sure if any shop near me will get a copy on the release date so I figured I could just as well order one from the internet. And I don't wanna download it.

fathergoat 10-13-2007 11:36 AM

Where I live we get tons of Streetlight cd's on the release date.

Jessizzle 10-13-2007 11:47 AM

Guys, this proves a point, ajax is so ****ing boring we all have to result in drugs alcohol or the internet.. there is no inbetween.

or make shitty music.

Aficionado 10-13-2007 11:51 AM

Ajax is poopty, Pickering is where its at though

Jessizzle 10-13-2007 11:54 AM

pickerjax same thing you just proved my point even more!

efff.

Flagjacket 10-13-2007 12:58 PM

I vote that we select two of Jess' friends and ban them to avoid further talk of Canadian suburbs.

lynch_me 10-13-2007 01:15 PM

I know, it's like an annoying tree because it makes weird shadows in your room at night. Jess is the roots of that tree.

lynch_me 10-13-2007 01:15 PM

nevermind it's nothing like that.

SkaRobotArmy 10-13-2007 01:19 PM

barrie is where its at.

DougJI 10-13-2007 01:57 PM
There's a thread specifically for this band right below this thread.
this is way too epic for a band thread. 4.5 years since their last album.

Aficionado 10-13-2007 02:00 PM

Not too long till the whole album leaks

DougJI 10-13-2007 02:09 PM
Not too long till the whole album leaks
Mustard Plug is selling a split CD sampler at their shows that includes these two songs. so a full leak is probably awhile away yet.

Aficionado 10-13-2007 02:17 PM

Oh cool, can't wait till this album is out

thunderzstruck 10-13-2007 03:48 PM

argh i told myself that i wouldnt download any leaked tracks but the temptation was waaay too high

i listened to the first 40 sec of Down, Down, Down To Mephisto's Cafe and AHHHHHHHHH ITS AMAAAZING!! :D

SkaRobotArmy 10-13-2007 04:29 PM

Its Soooooooooooo Good!

ZaaR 10-13-2007 04:30 PM

mephisto's cafe is an awesome fucking song

fathergoat 10-13-2007 04:34 PM

I'm glad to hear something less pissed off by them.

thunderzstruck 10-13-2007 09:31 PM

ok ive listened to them a few times now. Very good songs but I have a complaint.

I don't know how much i like the production. what i loved about EGN was the underproduced sound. Now the drums dont stick out nearly as much and doesnt have that same rhythm feel from these two tracks

DougJI 10-14-2007 12:36 AM

The drums not sticking out makes the songs less similar sounding I think...

and once again, we're still only judging on like 1/6 of the album

Danger Bird 10-14-2007 02:02 AM

Mephisto's was meh but Watch It Crash was awesome, classic SM.

i agree 100%, exactly why i love catch's keasbey nights way more than streetlights.

I felt the opposite.

Danger Bird 10-14-2007 01:42 PM

Maybe I'm just a sucker for that quiet part in the middle.

bob 10-14-2007 01:59 PM

for all u streetlight fans, i know the drummer

Danger Bird 10-14-2007 02:05 PM

I bet you feel like a somebody now.
