Well my exams are now over and they weren't too bad either.

So now I've got very little school work or anything besides starting my A2 courses, so I'll be getting back to writing and critting again I suppose.

Lucky, my schooling ends tomorrow, with finals on monday, tuesday and the 21st. Sucks di[I]c[/I]k. I know I haven't been around lately, due to lack of inspiration, and lots of school work, I'll try to get back around here more during the summer.

When do you all start school? I started like August 21st (:() and I got out May 18th.

I think school starts August 24th for me.

But on the 12th of this month, I start summer school. It's 8 - 2, five days a week, for a month. Wooh.

Hah, yeah. Intelligence is worst measured by grades. Very few things they teach, will help you. But, I came with good news. I SAVED 15% ON CAR INSURANCE BY SWITCHING TO GEICO! Kidding. God, I hate that [U]f[/U]u[U]cking[/U] gecko. Anyway, I finally finished this short story I've been working on. Hot sh[I]i[/I]t.

I wish I'd have taken band in High School. That would've been cool. I was too busy drawing superheros and dumb D&D stuff. :upset:

We have orchestras and stuff, but no jazz band or anything like that. Thena gain we are a grammar school that has a headmaster with no itnerest in music (not a good mix)

There's a music theory class at our school, but apparently nobody ever takes it so they don't have it usually.

The teacher that's supposed to know music at school doesn't know sh¡t about theory or doesn't bother to teach kids real music, just basic progressions and strumming... let's call it, music 101.

How about making a critiquer of the month award? Bit like the Song of the month. Though it probably wouldn't come off very well. Ignore my suggestion. It's a silly idea!

I don't think its a silly idea. It would definately need refinement though. I think that people who do exceptionally good critiques or lots of helpful critiques should definately be recognised somehow... I'm not sure if or how it would work though..

Those who write good critiques tend to get recognized anyway; their work gets more attention. So it all works out eventually.
