Jim, You need to fill out the Award thread :p

Double Bass Jim 07-31-2005 11:59 PM

Already done

Simple Man 08-01-2005 12:00 AM

Haha, I saw, I went back in there and I saw it.

Seafroggys 08-01-2005 01:00 AM

12 hours until I make the phone call.

Holy crap I'm nervous already! She'll probably be so surprised to hear from me.

Y'know, I'm not fearing rejection. If she doesn't care for me, then fine, I'll be sad, but I'm starting college and I'm in a band so I'll find groupies no problem :naughty:

But what I'm fearing is a: She's going far away for college (like opposite coast) or b: She already has a boyfriend.

If either of those are true, there is possibility for us to get together, but those things pretty much screw any chances I have over anyway. Not liking me is one thing, but liking me but having those other obligataions would hurt even worse.

PowerStamp 08-01-2005 01:07 AM

good luck man.
Just breathe easy, relax, and call her like it's no big deal, like as if you called her every day.

Jezen 08-01-2005 01:39 AM

Yeah. The conversation will flow alot easier if you pretend you have always been friends.

Tim 08-01-2005 01:45 AM

make sure there is never a silent moment. chicks hate when its all quiet on the phone. sends a bad message

Seafroggys 08-01-2005 01:52 AM

God I hate those silent moments. Trust me, I aim on talking a lot (or getting her to talk alot, which would be even better).....

Lots to talk about too..........should I bring up my ex at all (like telling her about her getting married......)?

PowerStamp 08-01-2005 01:56 AM

Hm
With hopes of getting with this girl, no. Just somehow mention somehow that you've become recently single.

If you talk about your ex it might seem you're still attached to her. You do NOT want her to think that wether it's true or not lol

never bring up exes dude. shell think you still have something for her. just make it known you are single though

Seafroggys 08-01-2005 02:18 AM

Well I'm off to bed now.

I'll probably go on right before I call, and I will definitally post afterwards.

I'll need like an hour of meditation before I make the call.

Jezen 08-01-2005 02:42 AM

Took the rudiment test again. Scored 97% in 6 minutes. Im getting better.

dumbassdrummer 08-01-2005 03:23 AM

What's the rudiment test?

btw, I havent done this yet:
I'm Dana Ingram, from a few place, however I now live in Arkansas. I'm 17 and i have been playing drums since I was about 13, probably. My idols are John bonham, Chad Sexton, Elvin Jones, Neil Peart, and all of the old doo-whop drummers.

Jezen 08-01-2005 04:11 AM

Yes!!! My 3rd Fallout Tactics CD will be done in an hour!!!!!1*^3@#%

That means I can play Fallout when I get home! w00tacious!

And now I have to go to drum school.

Ethan. 08-01-2005 09:51 AM

Holy Crap! Timbales are so awesome. I made one out of my old snare drum and it is heaven for soloing. I love it so much. I just need a stand to put it on. Probably can only mount it on another snare stand though... they cost too much.

Double Bass Jim 08-01-2005 12:34 PM

Haha those snare conversions can sound decent, nothin like a real timbale though. If you go and try some out at the store compare them to how the snare sounds at home, it's a very different sound.

Win A Rabbit 08-01-2005 01:31 PM

whoo!!! goin' partying tonight, because last time we waited for my friend to get back, but he didn't get back that night. he got back yesterday when we were having the fire, so NOW we're partying with him

I love that game. Never got around to beating it though, once I got to the robots all my guys were only skilled in small guns so I did **** for damage.

Anyway, I shall make the phone call in the next 15 minutes or so. I'm 3 hours late but I had to do a load of housework since my dad is home. My stomach is churning and I feel really sick, but I have to get through this. I must!

Plan B. 08-01-2005 04:48 PM

Once you start, it will flow, don't worry.

So I just got back from Pasco, Washington. Man that place is hot. Me and some other people from our church were helping the migrant workers there by helping in the daycare and vbs. I got to pick some apples while I was there, which was a lot harder than it looks. We toured their packing plant and their orchards too, so we got a pretty good idea of what it was like to work there. The orchard we worked at was also the largest apple orchard in the world with over 5,000 acres. So it was a good experience. But it's good to be back.

Plan B. 08-01-2005 05:13 PM

Wicked, I need to go on a trip soon, I'm sick of this place.

On a side note I just orded a pound of wings, wedges and 3 cokes, I'm STARVING!

I was shaking while dialing the phone I was so excited.

Ill Mitch 08-01-2005 05:19 PM

Order me some wings too.

Seafroggys 08-01-2005 05:35 PM

Seafroggys 08-01-2005 05:50 PM

No I didn't. But apparently they have a fax according to the machine.

I'm gonna call again later tonight, probably about 7:30.

Plan B. 08-01-2005 05:51 PM

Ok, good idea.

Its not that bad now, is it?

Tim 08-01-2005 06:10 PM
