Amazing band, definitely. |
I have, to this day, still not heard Vincent Prices Orphan Powered Death Machine. I'm trying to find them now.
That's one of my favorite bands ever, they came from my Lancaster. Amazing that a band that good managed to prosper in Lancaster. |
Indeed they are amazing. Ive out played the Punk Terrorist volumes.....

I am going to go out on a limb and say that 38 Counts of Battery is my favorite Pig D album.
38CoB > Terrifyer > PitY > Split > PoDG |
For some reason Terrifyer was my least favorite Pig Destroyer album from what I heard of it, I just think 38 counts and PitY were so much better. Not sure what was wrong with it, but it sounded off to me for pig destroyer.
As far as Nausea, is it still possible to pick up any of their old LPs anywhere cheap? |
Isn't there another band in Cali called Nausea too?
|

38CoB > Terrifyer > PitY > Split > PoDG
Which split is that? Also 38 Counts of Battery isn't like an original album or anything, it is just the a compilation of their early stuff. |
Does anyone know Crush Kill Destroy?
|
Isn't there another band in Cali called Nausea too?
Yeah, there's a Grindcore band down in LA. Not bad, either. http://www.myspace.com/nauseala |

Would you guys consider bands like Melt Banana and Heavy Heavy Low Low has grind? I love these bands.
|

I guess the intro just gets me pumped and scares the s'hit out of me every time I listen to it. Then it's all up in your grill for the rest of the album. And I'm sure you could find some on the internet. :p
Which split is that? Also 36 Counts of Battery isn't like an original album or anything, it is just the a compilation of their early stuff.
Are you kidding me? It's the one with Orchid that you were creaming yourself over a while back. Or do they have another split that I don't know about? And I didn't know that. But it still owns.
Would you guys consider bands like Melt Banana and Heavy Heavy Low Low has grind? I love these bands.
Yeah, they're grind. |
Melt Banana hurts my ears. The singer makes me want to kill myself.
|
They have crazy math-rock-esque rhythms that make me want to dance. Right now tho im whoring me and him call it us and the locust.
Would you guys consider bands like Melt Banana and Heavy Heavy Low Low has grind? I love these bands.
Melt Banana is more Noise-rock. |
Not sure why I like Terrifyer so much. I guess the intro just gets me pumped and scares the s'hit out of me every time I listen to it. Then it's all up in your grill for the rest of the album.

I always looked at it and went, well, it's nice, but it could be nicer. Also, I checked most of the net stores I could find and they're either out of stock or overpriced, if they carry them. I can always just ebay them. Lastly, Melt Banana is pretty friggen cool, but I'd say they're more noisy and spazzy than they are grind? |
Melt Banana is awesome. I'd say that HeavyHeavyLowLow is grind though.

Yeah, I usually add bands as they get mentioned, but sometimes I'm just really lazy. Oh, and I recommend: Warcollapse Axegrinder Behind Enemy Lines Hiatus Masskontroll |
Warcollapse and BEL are both awesome. I'll check out Masskontroll later, I've been forgetting to.
|
Are you kidding me? It's the one with Orchid that you were creaming yourself over a while back. Or do they have another split that I don't know about?
And I didn't know that. But it still owns.
This is their discography: Pig Destroyer / Orchid (Split album, 1997) Demo (Demo, 1997) Explosions In Ward 6 (Full-length, 1998) Pig Destroyer/Gnob (Split album, 1999) Pig Destroyer/Isis (Split album, 2000) 7" Picture Disc (EP, 2000) 38 Counts Of Battery (Complete Discography up until 2000) Prowler In The Yard (Full-length, 2001) Benumb / Pig Destroyer (Split album, 2002) Painter Of Dead Girls (Tracks from Gnob and Benumb split 2004) Terrifyer (Full-length, 2004) |
Masskontroll are great except the vocals are a bit harsh.
|
Masskontroll is sick. I just recently got into Behind Enemy Lines. I can't believe I slept on these guys for so long. I like them MUCH better than Caustic Christ.
|
BEL are really good, probably my favorite crust band, although I don't know too many. This thread should help me out!
