i've downloaded silence by sonata arctica which is one of my favourite albums at the moment, and i will buy it eventually, but what would be the best album of theirs to buy besides this one? i haven't heard much else besides this album so i don't know how different the others are.
and also, what exactly is that voice at the start of The End of This Chapter all about? sounds like it's from Scream or something, but i don't even know what the song itself is about anyway.

I personally like Winterheart's Guild...it has some great songs on it.

I began my Symphony X journey with "V- The Mythological Suite", and that album still ranks as my favroite of theirs today. I find it much more on the Power Metal end than the Progressive End, which I like more. Also, I be seeing Symphony X in Gigantour on the 7th of September :cool:

Wahah, the intro is so cool. It just kicks you in the nards right from the start of the album. Plus, what's the time sig, 13, or something? One of my faves from The Odyssey, aside from the title track.

That's Mika Nilonen - he does those creepy voices a lot on their albums. Reckoning Night is my fave of theirs

I think I first saw in on MA and then read it in metal hammer's upcoming releases.
