Kage- Mezzanine thoughts?
Front page of Sputnik, an Adema album is on there somewhere near the top.

Futuro 10-31-2005 09:23 PM

Never even heard of Adema  But I D/L a song. It was pretty bad :-/

Kage 10-31-2005 09:27 PM

I liked them back in my very early music-listening days. But, man, even amongst the NuMetal bands, they were one of the first to go. They're terrible.

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-31-2005 09:34 PM

I'm making a mental list of people I know who like Adema.

I can really see what you're saying. :-/

YDload 10-31-2005 09:37 PM

You spelled inebriation wrong in your user title.

Moses 10-31-2005 09:41 PM

Hey, Jake I sent you those DEP songs to your email.

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-31-2005 09:41 PM

YD-No I didn't.

:tehshifty:

Good catch, sir.

Noj- Thanks, I'm now downloading When Good Dogs Do Bad Things. :) w00t, 3%

Moses 10-31-2005 09:43 PM

I was gonna actually say somthing about that..... but then I thought I could be the one who was wrong.

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-31-2005 10:13 PM

When Good Dogs Do Bad Things is an amazing track, dude. :-| I love the contrast of the quiet dark part and the screaming section. I may just have to add DEP to my list of bands I need to look into further. :)

Moses 10-31-2005 10:15 PM

I think I asked you if you liked them a while ago and you said no.

Silly Jake.
:smash:

Darkness 10-31-2005 10:17 PM

Can I get the link to that song? I've never heard them before.

Moses 10-31-2005 10:21 PM

What's your email?

I'd been wondering who the hell that was on my list...

More importantly, are any of you guys planning on doing Tool for IAJP's Defend A Band Competition?

Darkness 10-31-2005 10:28 PM

Whats your e-mail again, G Mac?

Moses 10-31-2005 10:30 PM

Oh yes that's right, you're the one who sent me Dreaming Neon Black. Too bad I can't convert the files from m4a to mp3 or wmv. Thanks alot anyway though I can still listen to it at school on their computers.

Why can't you convert it? Have you tried the ImTOO mp3 convertor?

Killtacular 10-31-2005 10:32 PM

Download you a converter, hizommie.

Moses 10-31-2005 10:34 PM

Well my computer times out quite fast so usually I download Neuro's album and burn it at school to put on my computer at home. The thing is, they have a firewalls and **** preventing executable files to be downloaded.

dUSK 10-31-2005 10:37 PM

Would it help if I uploaded it as a .zip file, and then when you burn Neuro's next album you can get it as well?

Although I don't see why you wouldn't be able to download a convertor even with a computer that 'times out'. It's less than 3Mb

Darkness 10-31-2005 10:37 PM

Really? Damn... I even asked you, and you said that those files would be OK... sorry man.

Edit: Aside from some of the vocals on the DEP songs, it's pretty decent... but I wouldn't buy an album.

Moses 10-31-2005 10:56 PM

I thought it would be ok, that was my fault. I found out the next day though. I can still listen to it but I won't be able to have it on my computer. You also realize that it's the almighty Mike Patton on vocals on that album, right?

@ Gmac
I'm saying I can't download a converter on my school computer. My computer times out whenever I have a big file to download, like a whole album.

Spiritofmosa 10-31-2005 10:57 PM

i've been getting into team sleep today, anybody listen to this band?

Dried Muffin Remnants 10-31-2005 11:00 PM

Yup, a band with some of Chino's other friends... An ambient sampling group. Pretty good.

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-31-2005 11:01 PM

I don't think I ever said I disliked DEP, Moses. I may have, but if I did say that, I beleive these songs have proved me wrong.

Darkness 10-31-2005 11:02 PM

I sure do, and he's never done anything that amazed me... never saw what was so great about him.

Hmmm... that's weird. He's probably the most unique and talented singer in R&M as I see it. He's extremely versatile, his Al Green cover is amazing.

Well, Jake you have a new band to explore.:thumb:

YDload 10-31-2005 11:07 PM

I have Miss Machine burned onto my computer, as well as the song "43% Burnt." My brother bought MM after seeing the band at Warped, and I stole it from him and ripped it to my computer after seeing them at Gigantour. Point is, this band is very very powerful live, and that's without Patton too (they played When Good Dogs Do Bad Things).

Moses 10-31-2005 11:09 PM

How amazing was it? I went to Gigantour but I missed them and I hate myself for it.
