I think my posts in here are pretty good

Jessizzle 01-15-2005 04:31 PM

its better to have spam in one spot then all over.

Or none at all.

Agreed. Whoa we agree in one thing!
Or none at all.
That's impossible and you know it.

Spam is only good when it's funny, and I know most of you try, but you lack the talent of funny spam.

lynch_me 01-15-2005 04:41 PM
Agreed. Whoa we agree in one thing!

That's impossible and you know it.
No it's not impossible, it's not like people have no control over themselves and you know it. Fine, SOME spam is harmless but a lot of the time it is dumb and like I said, it becomes a chain reaction. I just don't want the Community thread to be closed for the 100th time.

lynch_me 01-15-2005 04:42 PM

Ok, that's what I said. Some spam it's ok. It's inevitable anyway. I don't see there's too much spam here in this thread, and if there's spam it slows down in a little time.

Sid 01-15-2005 04:50 PM

The community thread is for general discussion but senseless spam is annoying no matter where it is.

When we're all actually talking about something it's pretty fun, but when it's just pages of crap it's not really any fun to read and it's why the community threads before this have been closed. Don't f'ucking ruin for the rest of us a'ssholes. Or, Adam will come to your house and beat you to death and smoke a bowl on your corpse.

Sid 01-15-2005 04:52 PM

Oh and funny spam is okay but most of you have the intelligence of a rock when compared to me so it's hard to appeal to my higher sense of humor. Obviously.

superskankinactionhero 01-15-2005 04:53 PM
Or, Adam will come to your house and beat you to death and smoke a bowl on your corpse.

SID YOU MISSED MY 4,000th POST! IT WAS FANTASTIC! guaranteed orgasm when you read it :thumb:

lynch_me 01-15-2005 04:54 PM

What's not funny anymore is when people talk like they're illiterate as a joke.

Jessizzle 01-15-2005 04:55 PM

yes it does get annoying,

Sid 01-15-2005 04:56 PM

Holy s'hit that's a treat for the eyes!

I love you all but stupid spam does suck. Unless you're adam.

Sid 01-15-2005 04:59 PM
What's not funny anymore is when people talk like they're illiterate as a joke.
Which is funny cause over the summer I remember a lot of regulars would do it. Then everyone else started to.

I only did it once. On accident.

EDIT: Okay i double posted twice now, I'm such a noob. I'm just going to stop posting.

pedro durruti 01-15-2005 05:00 PM

Ok let's stop talking about spam and get back to that cyber orgy, you know what room Sid

Sid 01-15-2005 05:02 PM

Peter you're not even in the room.

superskankinactionhero 01-15-2005 05:12 PM

i am in said room

sketchyjoe 01-15-2005 05:28 PM

Brain Toad 01-15-2005 06:00 PM

That story rules Joe.

I have the most posts in this thread, and I never spam, I just feel the need to respond to everyone's posts.

superskankinactionhero 01-15-2005 06:06 PM

i was second on posts in the first community thread for ages, but when that one got shut i lost interest a little bit.

CONNER_NWHC 01-15-2005 06:09 PM

I use to post alot in one of them but i dont don't post very often in this one.

shane italian 01-15-2005 06:11 PM

The second one is going to feature a perilous trek through the jungles of Jamaica with a little annoying kid.

superskankinactionhero 01-15-2005 07:14 PM

i can't wait for that!

sketchyjoe 01-15-2005 07:20 PM

And after that Adam and his father fight the Skazis to find the holy grail of ska. I've got it all planned out.

Brain Toad 01-15-2005 07:32 PM

Posted Ska Education, and I will rep anyone who contributes something decent. If I can rep them, I may need to spread some around first.

StruckEverywhere 01-15-2005 07:47 PM

Someone needs to do something about the recommendations thread, people are just posting bands that they like without saying what genre they are at all.

sketchyjoe 01-15-2005 07:59 PM

I posted some Rocksteady info in the ska education thread. It's mainly taken from the liner notes of the Trojan Rocksteady box set. Which (as I said before) is considered by many (Mark Lamarr and the bloke in my local independent record store who knows a lot about ska and reggae) to be the best Trojan box set.

superskankinactionhero 01-15-2005 08:30 PM

yeah i've heard that one's supposed to be killer. i've got a £12 Virgin voucher so i might go spend that tomorrow.

Van should have a ska fest. Actually, Victoria's ska fest (which I missed this year) is world renowned . Is Toronto skafest world renowned? Didn't think so.

El_Shiznit 01-15-2005 11:38 PM

I got a question to ask you Sk8SkaNJ...

How come like 2 or 3 days ago, you +repped me on my profile saying "Good Job" or whatever, then today, you neg rep me saying "**** off - Sk8Ska" on the profile? If you got a real problem with it, what is it? I'm not trying to call you out or anything. I'd just like to know if I did something wrong.

Let's Chop Cats! 01-15-2005 11:39 PM

Wasn't me, someone probably signed my name, but it wasn't me.

If your curious enough head to the site forum and ask in the ask the mods thread. A super should be able to tell you who did it.
