Jom, try to get as close to the front as you can.

Lord Abortion 07-14-2005 06:23 PM

I like A7X- an odd but very cool mix of punk and power metal

You really did have me confused... you even blamed it on those damned wrestling Mexicans!
I like A7X- an odd but very cool mix of punk and power metal
And about 7 other random metal/punk sub-genres, lol.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-14-2005 06:32 PM

A7X is pretty cool. I've only heard 2 songs, but from what I heard, they are quite the talented tr00 n3cr0z.

So I finished my giant sidewalk building project today with my dad. It turned out quite awesome. It's just your basic sidewalk, but I think it's something that we all take for granted. Next time you walk down the street, think about how much work someone put into that little slab of cement.
If you don't mind missing the Super Bowl, go to any theme park on Super Sunday and long lines will be avoided. We did this the year the Giants and the Ravens were playing, and we went to Busch Gardens in Tampa. I went on Montu about five times in a row without having to wait. :D
Busch Gardens is great.

On a different note, could you avoid posts that just say "hello", in future? Please.

My first show was Silverginger 5, and roughly 1/3 of my live experience has been The Wildhearts. Newcastle doesn't usually provide good opportunity for seeing people live.
You really did have me confused... you even blamed it on those ****ed wrestling Mexicans!
I blame everything on the Mexicans. I'm white like that.
. Newcastle doesn't usually provide good opportunity for seeing people live.
tell me about it...
where do you live BTW? near The Toon  ?

it's generally bollocks for live bands, but the new carling academy will make it alot better and some good bands do still come to the arena- rammstein tonight were brilliant for example and Alice cooper is there in November.

but I can't imagine for example cannibal corpse or mayhem choosing Newcastle for live shows...

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-14-2005 06:37 PM

How big is Newcastle, Bart?

/lives in town(lol town) of 2,000

The only thing offered here are mariachi bands for hire. :-/ :confetti:

Yeah, Gateshead. Not far from evilmenhavenosongs, I believe. Saying Gateshead generally confuses people though, so I always say Newcastle.
Sure thing, sorry.
Thanks.

Short answer: I'm not really sure.

There isn't really a longer answer.

ATM 07-14-2005 07:09 PM

Is it wrong that I like the Vines?

Bartender 07-14-2005 07:11 PM

Yep.

trev913 07-14-2005 07:11 PM

Okay, totally pissed off right now...
I just typed a review of Anathema's "A Natural Disaster", a sprawling review, might I say. Not the best I've ever typed, but a good one. Yeah, sputnik must have lost my login info or something while I was typing, cause my review just lost itself...

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-14-2005 07:12 PM

@Bart-210,000 people

Go google! Well, that's a lot bigger than my town, so yeah, it's not quite big enough to pull many acts in, I'm guessing.

I'm thinking of going to the NIN conert in Seattle with Madey in September, but I don't even really like NIN, but I just want to get devirginized...I mean, Iv'e never been to a concert. :inconspicuous:

blue3 07-14-2005 07:12 PM

No.. I don't like the Vines though

ATM 07-14-2005 07:13 PM
Yep.
I can't help it. They have some catchy songs.

Bartender 07-14-2005 07:14 PM

It's not really a bad thing. I own an album of theirs myself, but I don't like it much.

Which is exactly why you should type reviews out in text documents before attempting to post them.

You've learned for next time, I suppose :-/ You won't do it again. But that happening always sucks.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-14-2005 07:15 PM

Is it possible to be a fanboy of several bands? Like, I'm a huge fan of a bunch of bands, but I'm not sure if I can be...
Is it possible to be a fanboy of several bands? Like, I'm a huge fan of a bunch of bands, but I'm not sure if I can be...
Of course it's possible! I'm the same way.

ATM 07-14-2005 07:17 PM

I'm probably borderline fanboy of Radiohead. Then again, if somebody doesn't like them, I don't whine and moan about it.

RCA 07-14-2005 07:20 PM

Oh, that type of fanboy. In that case, it might be a problem.
