Hello, everyone. Pardon the interruption.

I have a little proposition for those interested:

R&M is running a song cover competition that, at first, was going to encompass only rock and metal (before, it was only a metal competition).

However, after some deliberation and also to try to reach out to the other genre forums, I'd like to extend the invitation to you guys as well.

The rules and guidelines are in the first post of that thread, right here.

So, if you guys have recording equipment and would like to submit an entry, by all means, please do so. It would be nice to have numerous entries from the different forums.

If not, then sorry for the interruption, and carry on. If you have any questions or anything, please e-mail me at my MX address or post in the thread.

I'll be doing some recording over christmas break. I'll totally submit a song or 2 when they're done.

Jom 12-05-2005 11:50 PM

One song per user, though. Sorry :)

Zmev 12-06-2005 01:42 AM

I can submit my Ween cover of I'm in a Mood to Move, yay.

Happymeal 12-06-2005 06:33 AM

Will The Fit-Out collaborate with your band Zach? If so that would be awesome.

Murs is performing on Saturday and I can't go =/

So I just found out that a chick I know's dad may be Nick Sheppard, guitarist for The Clash from 1983-1985.

I need to hook in with this chick to get to her dad.

Come on A+I people, don't let Buckley lose in the R+M vocalist poll thingy.

edit: 3000 posts....wow, it's been like a year now.

Little Man being Erased 12-06-2005 03:43 PM

I'd click on your link but the man in the announcement told me not to.

EDIT: also, when you say 'Buckey loose,' do you mean 'Buckley lose?'

Zmev 12-06-2005 03:46 PM

He means like let Buckley loose, like he let himself loose into the water.

Interstate 12-06-2005 03:46 PM

My internets is getting fixed soon, yay!

JonM 12-06-2005 03:48 PM

Picsnowplzkthnx.

Kyle 12-06-2005 03:54 PM

yeah, I totally meant loose.....and that's why I edited it to say otherwise.

the link is similar to the Mortal Kombat one but it's a load of kids singing and dancing to toxicity.

Little Man being Erased 12-06-2005 03:57 PM

It still says Buckey though.

Quote of the day for me happened at work. I work at Tim Hortons (Canadian coffee shop) and my fresh-off-the-boat co-worker asked me what Timbits were.

lmao rofl

Now that's a true FOB.

Wanker 12-06-2005 06:42 PM

Should we all know what Timbits are?

Luxor 12-06-2005 06:43 PM

If you're Canadian. And especially if you work at Tim Hortons.

That's like working at a ski shop and you turn to your co-worker and ask them what ski poles are.

Wanker 12-06-2005 06:45 PM

Ok, I gotcha.

Eff that FOB. My friend says that all the Hatians are taking all the jobs on Cape Cod in MA.

Little Man being Erased 12-06-2005 09:13 PM

Bit o' good ol' woman beatin' eh?

Wanker 12-06-2005 09:13 PM

Unless it was sodomy.

Little Man being Erased 12-06-2005 09:15 PM

Yeah, that's fun too.

I realized what they were last summer on my 15514523434th visit to Tim Hortons, while eating them. >_>
Bit o' good ol' woman beatin' eh?
Actually, I was quoting Mitch Hedberg and she laughed until she cried.
