Well to me it looks like he set the kit up outside for the picture. So if he kept the gong behind the kit, as you usually would, either it wouldn't be in the picture, or it would be right in front of him, covering his lame pose.

Drummer Freak 911 02-18-2006 03:54 PM

it looks like the person who took the picture is standing on something like the roof of his house.
think about what would happen:
The photographer falls on top of that dude he falls on his drumset and the whole thing collapses on him making this huge crash!,splash!,boing!

lol that would be funny

Drum Phil 02-18-2006 03:56 PM

He has a radia bell :| Where the fuck did he get that

Drummer Freak 911 02-18-2006 03:59 PM

Phil lives in the UK, thats why he cant find one, most probably

Drum Phil 02-18-2006 04:33 PM

I thought they were discontinued

Futuro 02-18-2006 04:35 PM
I thought they were discontinued
That must be fairly recently. There was a local drum shop that had them not too long ago.

The Ska Man 02-18-2006 04:39 PM

Hello all.

Drum Phil 02-18-2006 04:40 PM

They were supposedly discontinued aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages ago.

Epiphender 02-18-2006 04:50 PM
The cymbals have all been rotated so that the logos are facing him.
Oh man HAHAHA I didn't notice that at first haha that's hilarious.

I can't see myself ever having a huge kit. I'm a big believer in finding those few pieces that work really well for me and then just playing each to its full potential.

Double Bass Jim 02-18-2006 04:53 PM

Storm cloud masters = best ever.

Hows the finish coming along? :D

Futuro 02-18-2006 04:54 PM

Time 02-18-2006 04:55 PM

Does anyone here own the VF Bill Cobham signature sticks? do they feel comfortable, cuz they look weird

Double Bass Jim 02-18-2006 04:56 PM

I'm pretty sure they were re-realsed

Drum Phil 02-18-2006 05:09 PM
Does anyone here own the VF Bill Cobham signature sticks? do they feel comfortable, cuz they look weird
They the double ended ones?

I always wanted a radia china and cup chime.

Epiphender 02-18-2006 05:17 PM

Jim where the hell do you keep going?

No more work on the finish yet because it's far too breezy to spray right now. I'm gonna try in the carport in a couple minutes though, there's a little spot that doesn't get much wind.

MY MOTHER IS THE GREATEST PERSON WHO EVER LIVED!FUCK JESUS, FUCK GHANDI, AND FUCK SANTA CLAUS!
I've been after this Selmer Serie II tenor that was used for $1700, and after my drum lesson today my mom asked me to call the shop to see if they had sold it yet. I did, and they had. They had also sold the Serie III, and the only thing left was this lovely little Semler Ref. 36 for $3,600.
I told her, and she sat at the table quiet for a few minutes until she told me to get my coat to go check it out. I get there, and it's the sweetest little thing I've ever laid my lips upon(including poontang). It plays absolutely PERFECT! The action is incredible, and it blows with such ease I can play staccato 16ths on low Bb. She bought it for me.
I can't believe it. I'm just totally stunned.
It's THE best horn Selmer makes. They go normally for $5,000+, and I got one in PERFECT condition for $3,600. It's only been played for a month, and the guy sold it because it didn't give him the sound he was looking for. It's insane. God...the finish is so sexy. It's a dark bronze-ish gold that makes it look so friggen mature and...sexy. Fuck.
I'm so happy.

Drummer Freak 911 02-18-2006 05:20 PM

^^^ wtf?
um...thats so cool :amaze:

Motleyguy 02-18-2006 05:39 PM

they should make one. 3-4 people to a forum...it would be very tight knit, lol.

spirit 02-18-2006 06:01 PM

Is that a Sax by any chance, Pespi?

*notices stylers posts*

Ah right. My sister just started playing the sax. Good for your mum by the way. It's great when parents do stuff like that.

Drum Phil 02-18-2006 06:04 PM

My band now has a sax player.

I can't go to a sax forum.
Those guys are mature and would take offense when I post stuff like I do.
Plus they all have the original Mark VI's and what nots and collections that put mine to bed.

styler 02-18-2006 06:19 PM

Drum Phil 02-18-2006 06:21 PM

Janeway 02-18-2006 06:36 PM

That was Phil?
So Phil's the fat kid who eats ice cream out of his butt crack.
Awesome.

styler 02-18-2006 06:45 PM

Drum Phil 02-18-2006 06:47 PM

styler 02-18-2006 07:10 PM

Janeway 02-18-2006 07:10 PM

I didn't get it.
You eat ice cream out of Styler's butt crack now?

Drum Phil 02-18-2006 07:11 PM

Nah. Im allergic to ice cream. I snort coke out of there though.

RushHourSoul 02-18-2006 07:12 PM

Im so pissed off. 3 chavs just started on me and my two mates walking home. We where all drunk and happy, not really expecting anything, they where picking on the taller guy as always, then one of them went to hit me in the face, instead missed and hit me in the throat.

Now my throat is ****ing stinging, and my voice is really raspy and bad. ****in' chavs. Which I had a baseball bat or something on me. They ruined a good night.

Futuro 02-18-2006 07:13 PM

**** man, bit lower and he'd have caved your windpipe and killed you.

Janeway 02-18-2006 07:15 PM

I hate when I itch my crack after I haven't showered and it smells all disgusting.

I love my tenor.

RushHourSoul 02-18-2006 07:16 PM

I know man. Its ****ing out of order. No one was around, then again even if they where no one would do anything. I know who the kids are though.. thing is if I get them back, they'll just come back with more chavs, probably with weapons etc. Might go to the police though.

Drum Phil 02-18-2006 07:19 PM

Im such a ray of sunlight arent i. You alright mano? I know how it feels.

The pigs are useless, i got dragged there with a broken nose, eyesocket and blood everywhere and they just put me on a bus to the hospital on my own and never did anything else.

Janeway 02-18-2006 07:20 PM

...
Chavs...
I was always under the impression that a chav was an upper middle class while male with frosted hair and an intangible love for speaking improper english, wearing baggy sweat suits, and pretending he is of ghetto descent while having no redeeming qualities of a true ghetto-teer. That would mean no access or knowledge of fire arms, or how to fight, or how to scare anybody by any means but telling daddy.
Ahem.

Drum Phil 02-18-2006 07:21 PM

They tend to be lower middle class and working class. Im below working class.
