****, that blows. I wanted to order the new 108.
I ordered it anyway.

Cost me $18 American.

srt-4 05-23-2007 07:46 PM
Considering the dollar is worth about 54p or something.
May make up for it if the postage is higher, as the actual stuff is cheaper.
that's what i was going to say. the value of the dollar relative to the pound and euro has been falling steadily. two dollars for one pound isn't a bad deal for you guys.

santi3hg 05-23-2007 08:02 PM

If I was living in England. I'd be raping American products, even though shipping is a lot.

srt-4 05-23-2007 08:28 PM

50% off sale! everything must go!

Matt? 05-23-2007 09:04 PM

dollar values really bum me out sometimes

srt-4 05-23-2007 09:05 PM

why?

Luxor 05-23-2007 09:08 PM

yay or nay

santi3hg 05-23-2007 09:35 PM

Link no work.

Ditto with the dollar for me.

I remember when all combos at burger king were like 3 bucks and 29 cents. A damn whopper costs 4.59 now. Assholes.

The Great Decay 05-23-2007 09:39 PM

inflation.

srt-4 05-23-2007 10:04 PM

a modest rate of inflation is a positive in a healthy modern, globalized economy. although, the economy is probably going to see detrimental inflationary pressures due to the falling dollar soon. but that will likely be outweighed by the positive effect a devalued dollar will have on our current account deficit. a weaker dollar is probably the best remedy for our unsustainable trade imbalance.

santi3hg 05-23-2007 10:17 PM

Bro no more economics for me, I just took my final for that.

srt-4 05-23-2007 10:25 PM

you can never escape economics!

santi3hg 05-23-2007 10:34 PM

I know it sucks, but too many graphs and essays on foreign markets in one day!

SGlove 05-24-2007 12:21 AM

Hey guys.
I was wondering.
What scales are predominant with bands like Saetia an On The Might of Princes an Circle Takes the Square even.
I'm really, really bad at scales so I just need help with this.

i generally do haha. if i go on a record spree, its usually from slave union or robotic empire through ebay u.s. all the inflation will cut down on this greatly though.

That or we stop putting so much faith in the Chinese government investing in our economy.
Let's say you want to get drunk at a pub in England. With 3£ per drink, for me to get legitimately too drunk to drive (not like I want to but I mean to get to .08% BAC) would probably take $32+. That's massively expensive. Not as bad as NYC apparently but ya.
That's lame as ****, why go to pubs or bars then? Just get some PBR 16 oz. and your good.

RetiredAt21 05-24-2007 10:48 AM

I don't like drinking that much. More fun stuff out there than alcohol.

Matt? 05-24-2007 02:15 PM
why?
because it's really expensive to buy things overseas

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 05-24-2007 08:16 PM

Has anyone tried that energy drink "Cocaine"?

The Great Decay 05-24-2007 08:35 PM

I've heard about it. Apparently it's much stronger than Red Bull.

santi3hg 05-24-2007 08:38 PM

It sucks.

And once again, link no work.

The Great Decay 05-24-2007 08:47 PM

Most energy drinks don't taste good.

:(((((((((((((((((((((((((((
PBR sucks. In Canada atleast. It's the same price as our cheap beer but it's complete shit. How cheap is the cheapest beer in the States?

pixiesfanyo 05-24-2007 11:49 PM

I use to get a case of lionshead for 10 bucks in PA.

and PBR is the best beer ever, so **** you.
Has anyone tried that energy drink "Cocaine"?
