You're in a band?
|
George Thorogood is quite enjoyable, except for fanboys like Bartender who only like Bad To The Bone. :)
How's things, all?
My dad used to play George in the car all the time. |
Guys, I fixed me AIM(I think) so I can trade again(I hope)

Hey, there is already a review of Tommy. I was thinking about doing it but it was done awhile ago.
|
Hmm, well as long as there is one, it's all coo.

It's not very good, but there is one. |
Still no Booker T. & The MG's CD yet. I'm getting ticked.

I ordered it over a week ago. It should've been here 2 days ago.

Lunch, how do you like QMS s/t?
I like it. Pretty much like you said, different from Happy Trails but still good. I bought the actual studio version of Tommy today, along with the Doors s/t. |

As Woodstock said, it's alittle more "poppy" then Happy Trials. The instrumentals are still excellent. |

It's always a risk in Canada. |
Hello, everyone. For a computer class I'm taking, we have to make a web page. I wanted to do one on a classic rock band. I've narrowed it down to The Beatles, The Doors, or Cream. Which do you think I should do?
|
cream, lesser known to normal, non musicians yet enormously talented. most people know the beatles and the doors.
|
I'd do Cream.
|
Yeah, do Cream.

The beatles. |
Thanks for helping me decide (I am a very indecisive person).
|
Sorry to double post, but I have a question. In Sunshine Of Your Love, it sounds like there are two guitars to me. I know Clapton was the only guitarist in Cream, so how did they get it to sound like that?

Dubbing. |
which have you decided on?
I think I'm going with Cream. I know the most about The Beatles out of those three, but I think it's a good idea to raise awareness of Cream. Plus, I don't want to be thought of as a suck-up (my computer teacher is a Beatles fan, too). Dubbing...Now I feel stupid. I should have known that. :upset: |
dubbing is very popular in classic rock, i do it alot when recording myself, but some solos have up to 4 guitars overdubbed...and wether their playing the same thing over eachother, it just gives it that edge.
and to who asked to do the report on, go with the beatles. They have so much more history to them and really set the path for all music, not by talent, but by inspiration (<- good intro statement  ) but people usually dont give them a chance since they are very old, music is pretty slow, and experimentation is usually too much for a modern listener to take |
In any live version of Sunshine of your love there is one guitar..
