Standard tuning is EADGBE. There are not multiple standard tunings. Therefore DGCFAD cannot be standard tuning.

It's a variation of standard tuning. People commonly refer to tunings like that as standard tunings, although EADGBE is the only real "standard".

The guy was clearly asking if there were any Bodom songs in standard tuning. Flash and Dash could have answered "no", or he could have told him that playing the songs in standard tuning would be the same, except that COB play their songs one full step down. Instead he decided to be intentionally difficult to understand, and that annoyed me. So yeah.

one week in poland... it rained the first 4 days and we visited one relative after another... its always the same. i bought some clothes and some guitar-stuff -> a metrononme and a gripmaster.

I've always called it D Standard instead of a Whole Step Down because I know people understand it. I never really knew if it was any realy official term or anything.
