And so.
Once again. Between Teleincision and the secret of the Melvins picture. We're all back to square one.
There ya go :) Now you guys see what I was planning all along :P I guess we all learned an important lesson today huh? /Stands around kicking dirt... |
Man, but that did own.
 So, here's the story I was telling everyone that AIM'd me: Take a look at the picture. Now, you see the Y in SAY? It represents 1/. If you look at it right, that's the shape it takes. Then, you see the ellipses? Well, look under the fourth ellipse, there are 2 streaks underneath it, forming a T, which, if you read The Davinci Code, comes up in a neohebrew cipher where some letters represent numbers and vice versa. The T, having 3 general extremities, represents the number 3. 1/T 1/3 January 3rd! IT ALL MAKES SENSORE! (a) |
Hmm. Nevermind then.
|
I never bothered with this. I knew it was going to be dumb.
|
N.P.: Opeth - Ghost Reveries.
I just can't get enough of this album. |
I almost picked it up yesterday, but I was like "wtf 14.95!?"
So, instead, I chose to purchase Mezzanine by Massive Attack for 13.95. Every man has his limits. :p It was well worth the purchase, though. I'm loving every minute of it so far. |
Is that trip-hop stuff? If so, is it similar to Portishead?
|
Jake, you never did listen to my song, did you. :upset:
|
I do know it's trip hop, and I've heard them compared to Portishead. Although, I've never actualy heard Portishead.
To tell you the truth, I'd never heard a second of Massive Attack before I bought Mezzanine. It was one of those leaps of faith. Christ, all if that to save a dollar on Ghost Reveries. Mike- I did too. I commented on it, too. If you want to see what I said, you could try to search function...Keyword crap. Just kidding, man, I actually really liked it quite a bit. I recall really digging the insurmentals. The only thing that I felt was off was the mixing, but that's beside the point. The panned guitar parts were a little high, and the drums were rolled back a bit for my liking. All in all, I did like it though. Death metal is a hard genre to pull off, nonetheless over the intraweb. :) |

Mike- I did too. I commented on it, too.
?! Where?! |
Portishead rules, but I've never heard Massive Attack. I'm going to have to hold off my constantly strong impulses to buy albums in order to save up for a Mesa/Boogie Single Recto during the next few months. With the absence of my mowing job during the winter, I'm going to be strapped for cash.

slsknet.com Duh! Downlaod Mezzanine stat! You'll dig it. Come on, I always follow through with your reccomendations, you bastard. :upset: |
Holy mother on a stick, I have it!
I just took a dump, and while I was straining I began to see dots. As my hemorrhoids burst, they made a blood spatter on top of my dookie, and it looked just like the morse code that Blair posted. This all means that the title of the new album is "Too Much Corn in my Poop", and the release date is February 12th, the day of the corn festival in Aimes, Iowa! Awesome! [Tool fans really concern me] |
?! Where?!
Bumped this post, because Jake's igoreing me. :upset: Actually I think its due to the end of the page... |

But, my harddrive space is becoming as much of a problem as cash right now. I'm down to 3.13 damn gigs. Slsk has been far too good a friend to me. I think I'm just going to start downloading for the next couple months and not buy a single CD. Then, once I get a more steady cashflow back up, I'll go out and buy the really good ones. |
Disclaimer- There is no neohebrew cipher. There is no alphanumeric code where T symbolizes 3.
All of this came off the top of my head, but yes, you guy should still be concerned about me. |
NP:Mind's Mirrors, Meshuggah
The feeding frenzy of my starving soul, gnawing voraciously at the bones, the exo-skeletal patchwork protecting my own reflection within; The twin-and-same engaged in the mirrored act of chewing away at the shell of my attacking self. The paradox unseen Treacherous this deceit to make no choice matter To have and yet lose yourself, until finally all reasons why are forgotten To live through ones own shadow. Mute and blinded, is to really see Eclipse the golden mirror and the reflection is set free Meshuggah rules. Even new Meshuggah. |

No worries mate. :) |
Even new Meshuggah? New Meshuggah especially rawks!
NP: Sigur Ros- Untitled 1 @ Made up words as lyrics |
OMG Jake, we are both listening to Sigur Ros!
Just finished listening to ( ), now I'm listening to assorted tracks from Agaetis Byrjun. Mezzanine is now downloading. :) |
Only thing is the drum machine part. It makes me think that Haake could be a phony............
Seriously though, sometimes me and my friends put Catch 33 on and set the Xbox screen saver up and just sit there and zone out. |
Moses, get Rare Trax, and then on the enhanced CD watch the live video of Elastic.
Then call Haake a phony. |
I don't think I'd like an entire album by Sigur Ros. I mean, Untitled I amazes the crap out of me, but I doubt i could withstand any more than 40 minutes of made up words and slow ambient beauty.
NP: Styx- Come Sail Away Wow, what a change. About Drum machines on Catch 33- Yeah, but it's not like he does his most technical stuff on Catch 33, though. He could have recorded the tracks, but due to time restraints, they just chose to program them. That is what my understanding of it is. |

The only song I'm not sure Haake could pull off that was done with a machine would be War. But only because thats inhuman.. |
Well, you're missing out on three mindbendingly better tracks (4, 7, and 8)
EDIT: @ Jake |

Huber-80's prog rock seems like something South Park would make fun of, so I'm guessing yes.
Kage- YSI to spiralout7@gmail.com plzomgihaverep Enya sounds like some kind of digital voice box that has been pitch shifted, and quad-tracked. |
