deathmetal853 10-05-2005 02:37 PM

Jev 10-05-2005 02:40 PM

4 posts in a row? come on!

deathmetal853 10-05-2005 02:40 PM

um....

Joe 10-05-2005 02:41 PM

Someone didn't read the rules at all

St. Anger is by far not there worst album. Have you ever heard of Load?

deathmetal853 10-05-2005 02:41 PM

wtf?

deathmetal853 10-05-2005 02:41 PM

yes, but st anger is a lot worse than load and reload combined

Joe 10-05-2005 02:42 PM

There's another two in a row, check out the rules dude

Reload happens to be pretty good.

Reload > St. Anger > Load

deathmetal853 10-05-2005 02:42 PM

hey how do you put the picture on the thing

deathmetal853 10-05-2005 02:44 PM

...

Joe 10-05-2005 02:44 PM

go to your user cp, I don't know how much it will matter because you'll probably be banned if you don't go read the rules

then pic a pic, 70x70

metalhead_matt 10-05-2005 02:47 PM
Nah, I'm just getting deafer so the phones have to be louder and they notice because you can hear it a mile away.
 lolz

metalmilitia101 10-05-2005 02:55 PM

god deathmetal you're bugging the shet outta me...if you're only gonna say a few words per post put them in one. thats the rules anyway

Ice Man 10-05-2005 03:01 PM

I totally agree. Reload is best out of three, then st. anger, and load seems to be the weakest one.

heavy metal kid 10-05-2005 04:06 PM
I totally agree. Reload is best out of three, then st. anger, and load seems to be the weakest one.
imo Load is the strongest, then Reload and the weakest is St. Anger.

which has fuel?

I don't know why Load gets so much grief. At least they still actually played music on Load. St. Anger is just..ah, it makes me angry thinking about it.

heavy metal kid 10-05-2005 04:13 PM
which has fuel?
Reload

Joe 10-05-2005 04:13 PM

They played music on St. Anger too.

Fuel is on Reload. It's a great song.

I still go with Reload > St. Anger > Load

except NP: ...AJFA

Nah, You've got it backwards. I'd much prefer SA to Load.

Britton 10-05-2005 04:16 PM

I was listening to Blackened in Church once.
the closest guy was 20 feet away and was signalling
me to turn it down...oops

Joe 10-05-2005 04:17 PM

That wasn't slick at all. I don't listen to music in church, we've got a pretty good church band. My guitar teacher says I shuold get involved just because it will improve my theory.

heavy metal kid 10-05-2005 04:17 PM
Nah, You've got it backwards. I'd much prefer SA to Load.
nope.
Load has at least 7 good songs.
St. Anger has like two great songs, the others are just good riffs.

I disagree. King Nothing is a great song, but I'm not a fan of Until It Sleeps and a few other various songs (i don't listen to it much so i'm checkin it out now to see what else I don't like). The riffs are pretty good, but it's just so different from Metallica I don't really like it. The guitar in Mama Said is great but it's just so not Metallica. Very good drumming. It's not heavy or difficult it just fits the song perfectly.

NP: Mama Said. Nevermind, it's a GREAT song. It's just far from Metallica.

Metallica will always be Metallica.

And in that case, St. Anger drumms, vocals and lyrics are far from Metallica.

About what album is better, it's all a matter of opinion.

We have 5000 mambers (lots of good musicians) but it
was accapella. and I had already sat trough the other
2 services. that's the only time it's ever happened

True

St. Anger lyrics I agree are absolutely nothing related to Metallica at all. I just like more songs on St. Anger

There's nothing wrong with an opinion, unless you said Simple Plan (bob's other band) is better.

I'd agree, I love BLeeding Me and The House that Jack Built, there's just that erie tone to it that sounds really cool.

Joe 10-05-2005 05:12 PM

Finally another poster!!!

You look familiar... maybe there's a similar name, anyways, welcome to the forums

Bleeding Me is average, King Nothing is pretty good

Last_Caress 10-05-2005 05:18 PM

Yes I know, I'm not new to foruming or whatever, I was a member of the tallica forum for quite some time, until someone hacked it, and then it was different. I like your title there Joe, that's my favorite song.

Yea I was pretty sure you weren't knew, who'd you used to be?

Mine too, by far. They don't have a song even half as good.

I don't think I ever posted on hear before, though I may have and just forgot about it, but if you're a member of the Metallica forum you might know me as metallica#14eva.

Agreed, Hammett hits the hammer on the nail with the opening solo, and the entire guitar arrangement is phenominal, definately by far the best.

Sounds familiar.

Oh yes. I finally can play that whole intro solo without messing up.

Last_Caress 10-05-2005 05:38 PM

yea the one 14 19 ect. part is kinda hard at first, I break it down into phrases and then
15 put em all together once I've mastered them all, imo it works better.

RustedPieces 10-05-2005 07:34 PM

Are you talking about the Fade to Black intro?

metalmilitia101 10-05-2005 07:39 PM
Are you talking about the Fade to Black intro?
yes they indeed are

RustedPieces 10-05-2005 07:50 PM

I never found it that hard. Well maybe its because I played it like 300 times in a row until I got it perfect. :p
