Hey Gav, I'm coming to Boston for a day...

bottlerocket 11-16-2004 03:01 PM

^ When? Where? Why? o_O

It's getting to be New England weather around here...he snowed last Friday night and it's been ice cold since. It's pretty warm today, though (42 deg. F, about 6 C, but that's just a rough guess, for anyone on here who doesn't live in the US).

There's snow and ice around. Ah, I love Boston...:p

Erm, spring break. I don't know anything else. We'll be staying outside of Salem, and we'll come into Boston for a day. Maybe we could accidently bump into each other? I'll keep you posted.... Get it? POSTed? Hahaha!

I REALLY need to stop playing WoW....
That's what I though when I saw it, thought I stumbled into a new members thread or something.

If you're going to be in Salem, I doubt we'll see eachother (I know you weren't being serious, but anyway). Salem's a good 20 minute ride from Saugus. You'll probably be in Danvers or Rockport or something...

Where in Boston are you going? I highly suggest Fenway Park (that's the die-hard Sox fan in me speaking...), the Duck Tours, the Hancock, and the Prudential.

Boston Common is also really interesting (it's where the book "Make Way for Ducklings" takes a place). Fun fact: It's legal to have a shotgun on the Boston Commons (when Boston was first founded, the Commons was the grazing field. The settlers had to protect their animals from wolves and such, so it was legal to bring a shotgun. To this day the law stands...).

I don't know where in Boston....

You could always drive if you're up to it. It'd be reassuring to meet someone I know there, I hate traveling. Again, I'll keep you posted, and I'll be sure to bring my 12 gauge...

Make way for ducklings kicks asses!!!

Favourite album? Mine would have to be the wall...

Foxfire 11-16-2004 04:50 PM
Ah it can't be that bad Fox :(
Really, it is.

Today I did nothing. Just 20 minutes ago, someone asked me about my day and I had to say "nothing," and then explain to them that I literally did NOTHING of interest.

Worst part is that it's like this on a daily basis. Normally, though, I'm at school. I've been bored all day.

My friends all live too far away to do something, or can't.

It really sucks.

Foxfire 11-16-2004 04:55 PM
Boring is better than crappy.

:amaze:
For me it's both. Boring creates less pity, though.

PaulSimonon 11-16-2004 04:55 PM

It does suck.

So true.

I actually did something this last weekend though.

Foxfire 11-16-2004 04:58 PM

It's worse because I'm in Chicago.

I'm at the age where I can do stuff...

...but I have no ride places...

peeted 11-16-2004 05:02 PM

There has to be something to do in a big city like that ... I mean, really. I dunno, maybe not.

Boredom is turning me bitter. Look at this conversation between me and ESP:

ViciousDeseven: you can't get a $2 gift for xmas? :-P
TherodoreFoxfire: i could go grab that myself -p
ViciousDeseven: lol
ViciousDeseven: but you have no ride
ViciousDeseven: santa has a sleigh
TherodoreFoxfire: santa can go to hell
ViciousDeseven: ooOOoo your getting a bass made of coal for that one
ViciousDeseven: with only one tone knob
ViciousDeseven: and it'll suck
TherodoreFoxfire: nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

There is.

I just don't have a bus card or a car.

:amaze: 11-16-2004 05:07 PM
There is.

Hmmm ... that's a predicament. Do you have a job where you get enough income to be able to do stuff?

:amaze:

Foxfire 11-16-2004 05:09 PM

You bet. Unfortunately, the person who owes me money is my dad.

Somewheres around 550 USD at the moment.

He just got off strike so we're still fixing up some financial things, and as such, I have no problem waiting.

*gives fox a hug* things'll get more lively soon, it's just the calm before the storm (a good storm of course)

Wow, that's weird. My mom just paid me back the 550$ she owed me!
