Biggie - Ready to Die Organized Konfusion - Stress: The Extinction Agenda
Do you like the new Mum? |
I haven't heard it yet, but hearing that they had new stuff coming out made me wanna rediscover their music. What's it like compared to their old stuff? i hear it has more live instruments.
|
Just finished Skinny Fists and it has confirmed my suspicious that it is indeed listenable.
|
probably because pornography and disintegration blow and so do the cure
First Yo La Tengo and now The Cure? Not impressed. |
Hey Tangy Zizzle...Kyuss is badass, no?
|
The Cure are one of the 3 or 4 bands that I consider my all time favorites. I've got all 13 (I think) of their albums and none of them are completely throwaway, and on top of that they made several timelessly classic releases aswell. Head On Then Door is pretty much perfect.

Is P0rnography good as people say it is? I always see it sitting there in the store looking quite shiny but just never pick it up as I've heard its rather boring from some sources. (If it helps you, my favorite Cure album I own is Disintegration). |
disintegration is my favorite cure album and porno is rather bleh. Boys Don't Cry/Three Imaginary Boys are my 2nd favorite

|
i had the opportunity to buy End on End at a record store in Adams-Morgan but decided not to. i gave it a trial listen and most of the songs sounded kinda samey (except for "For Want Of" which i got off last.fm).
still, i feel its a wasted opportunity :-/ |
Everything is so perfect in that album. I can't describe it any better than that. Everything just works.
|

Well the new, new one is different because the main singer left and was replaced with 3 new ones. It's different, but I'm diggin' it. I upload the new album to he list, but I'll rep you the link anyway. |

Food For Thought rules |
Well they can't be good if they're emo, and stayed around long enough for more than one album.

Naked Raygun - Throb Throb
Kind of Like Spitting - 100 Dollar Room
I usually combine listening to this with listening to Embrace.
I tried so hard to like Embrace, but I was never able to get into it. |
Glory - OST
James Horner's "Charging Fort Glory" is a brilliant piece of music. Also used in Gangs Of New York and The Professional. |
I usually combine listening to this with listening to Embrace.
Try Moss Icon. |
Naked Raygun- All Rise

Fugazi- The Argument
