Oh look at what the cat dragged in. Where've you been, ese.

THIS WAS TO SPECIALIST CHRISTOPHER BORTON

When we grew up and went to school
There were certain teachers who would
Hurt the children any way they could
By pouring their derision
Upon anything we did
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids
But in the town it was well known
When they got home at night, their fat and
Psychopathic wives would thrash them
Within inches of their lives

I was on "there's more to life than MX" hiatus. I didn't mean to just disappear without telling anyone what was going on, but that's kind of what I did. Anyway, I'm back and better than ever. And the PM song is nearing completion. Did you get any damage from the hurricane?

Riva 03-27-2006 07:59 PM

Not much really. Big fish tail palm (like 8m tall) took out our power connection to the main. Hence I lost power for a week. That's about it though, besides some minor damage to the house, a dented roof, and a mutilated clothes line.

I didn't say anything about Nichole. If I did, I'm sorry, I was just joking around by stringing together random words that look offensive.

You said "I'll rape your ****ing whoring **** sucking bitch", so that really pissed me off.

But eh, all's well I guess.

Jev 03-28-2006 09:39 AM

My guitar teacher wants me to learn this Gilbert warm up thing

http://s51.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2G27JPESJJLVC3B54XLPV0M4N5

It's in Midi. He said it's meant to be played at 180bpm, which I've put it to. Now either he's got that tempo wrong or he's expecting a wee bit too much of me.

kurrpt 03-28-2006 09:39 AM

16th notes, or triplets?

Jev 03-28-2006 09:40 AM

32nds, I have the sheet music but it has no tempo.
Come on, there's gotta be something wrong with that.

kurrpt 03-28-2006 09:45 AM

yea, theres no way he expects you to play 8 notes a click at 180

im not even sure JP could do that. Actually, i know he couldnt. That would be 24 notes a second

Jev 03-28-2006 09:46 AM

Yeah. I'm gonna go with 90bpm. That should work.

kurrpt 03-28-2006 09:47 AM

16th notes at 180 is believeable, but i couldnt touch that

Jev 03-28-2006 09:53 AM

I'm gonna try it as fast as I can. I have over the Easter holidays to learn it which is OK.

kurrpt 03-28-2006 09:54 AM

im only finally getting comfortable with 120 bpm, 16th notes

Jev 03-28-2006 09:58 AM
im only finally getting comfortable with 120 bpm, 16th notes
Meh, I'd say I'm round about there-ish.

Shred Danson 03-28-2006 10:21 AM

So. I feel like doing some CD reviews and actually contibuting.

I'm thinking of reviewing these CD's:

Witchery - Symphony For The Devil
Destruction - Inventor Of Evil
The Haunted - The Haunted Made Me Do It
Lord Belial - Enter The Moonlight Gate

What d'y'all think??

Jev 03-28-2006 10:22 AM

Go for it. Make me buy them.

Shred Danson 03-28-2006 10:27 AM

I'm going to do it when I get home from school, though, can't really work on it here.

I'm good. My music teacher had a last minute meeting today so I had to put off the recording of my piece. I fell a bit miffed but at least I can practice my sweeps.
