It means people who have signed up saying that you told them about the site. You can note someone as your refferer when signing up.

Oh :\

I guess that sort of makes sense, although I didn't know that he actually made an account..

Thanks.
Joe, did your ITT: We recreate the black death thread get deleted? Because i can't find it on the search.
Yeh, it did. I thought that thread was cool.

And Jelle : Yah i know, but it is really funny at times. When you wash up at the end of the day, its a massive bubble fight anyway, and two of my friends are start work at around the same time as me there.

MBS 07-14-2005 01:15 PM

So I'm going to leave for Disneyland in about half an hour...

Did I mention I'm going for free?

:p

I want them to reopen Space Mountain though, it's been closed for about 4 years now.

Illmatic 07-14-2005 01:21 PM

Ah, Disneyland, the most depressing place on Earth.

Or is that Disney World?

Meh, either way I wouldn't be caught dead at either. Amusement Parks suck.

Alex: I would have quit that job a long time ago, but then again we are two very different people.

Latin-American soccer teams are too flashy for me...I like English soccer the best because it's so physical.

Bartender 07-14-2005 01:21 PM

I never thought Space Mountain was all that good, and Disneyland I only ever found good for one visit every several years.

Have fun, anyway.

Illmatic: what do you think of rugby, then? Just going on your mention of the world physical.

Disneyland - the most fatal, expensive, depressing place on Earth.
I never thought Space Mountain was all that good.

It wasn't, but they're revamping it completely, it's supposed to be loads better. It even has a loop! A loop in the dark...

Have you ever actually been to Disney World? It is fucking awesome. I went this year and like 3 days before we went a 4 year old died on one of the rides, the ride was still open, but there was only a 5 minute wait.

I've never been to Disneyland, though.

Illmatic 07-14-2005 01:26 PM
Illmatic: what do you think of rugby, then? Just going on your mention of the world physical.
I really haven't gotten into rugby all that much because it's way too physical...I mean, with soccer (and American football, since it's compared to rugby so often) you can see flashes of style and skill and grace, but I haven't seen that with most rugby matches.
Have you ever actually been to Disney World?
Yes I have, and I did not like it all that much.

jpj 07-14-2005 01:28 PM
Yes I have, and I did not like it all that much.
You are weird.

Illmatic 07-14-2005 01:30 PM
You are weird.
Everything costs too much, the only rides worth going on have long-ass lines, and you're surrounded by screaming kids and fat tourists.

Other than that, it's a blast.

MBS 07-14-2005 01:32 PM

I did this thing once where I got to spend the night in California Adventures and the whole Boardwalk section was open for us to use. I went on California Screamin' (the best ride at California Adventures) 7 times in a row.

Disney World is sweet, I went to all 5 parks.

Jom 07-14-2005 01:34 PM

Cedar Point owns, because it's close to home. I don't think someone from say, Nevada making a trip to Ohio to go there would have as much fun, though. The novelty would probably wear off, I'd imagine.

magicbus 07-14-2005 01:41 PM

What's the difference between Disney Land and Disney World? (besides location)

I've been to the one in Florida, but that was a loooooooong time ago.

ATM 07-14-2005 01:57 PM

I'm with Ray on this one. I do like amusement parks, but usually everything costs so much and the lines are so long.

Disney World has four separate parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, MGM, and the Animal Kingdom. It's also got Downtown Disney, and three other waterparks. There are a couple of cool hotels there too.

Lunch 07-14-2005 02:31 PM

I used to get Season Passes to the 6 Flags around here, and go on cloudy Tuesdays. Long lines avoided. and The season pass was only about 50$, so after two visits it already paid for itself.

Usually the lines are too long or the park is just too crowded and annoying to warrant going to them though. Disney World is fun when you're little, but I don't think it would have much appeal to me now.

ATM 07-14-2005 02:32 PM

Exactly, I enjoyed it when I was younger, but I would probably be bored out of my mind now.

RCA 07-14-2005 02:40 PM

If you don't mind missing the Super Bowl, go to any theme park on Super Sunday and long lines will be avoided. We did this the year the Giants and the Ravens were playing, and we went to Busch Gardens in Tampa. I went on Montu about five times in a row without having to wait. :D

Lunch 07-14-2005 02:41 PM

Good deal, that Superbowl was horrible.

RCA 07-14-2005 02:48 PM
Good deal, that Superbowl was horrible.
Yeah. I didn't much care for the teams in it, so I decided it wouldn't be so bad if I missed it.

'Twas a good trade-off. :)

the2stranger 07-14-2005 02:53 PM

it's 28 degrees celcius here, and it's 11 in the evening.
meh, way too hot.

how is every one coping with the heat?

That's an awesome idea. My parents usually are opposed to things like that, but if I proposed something like that, the fat tourists could be avoided.

You are correct. I decided to have it changed to the name I use on other internet forums.
