Well, it has some good tracks and is overall pretty good, but there are better live albums you could get. |
What should I review?
|
Jimi>Bob at singing.
Bob's singing is perfect for his songs. |
What should I review?
Forever Changes I dislike this new site.... :upset: |
I don't own the case or anything. I try to only review albums I actually own, plus it has alredy been reviewed.
I'm doing Croakin' at Toad's. |
So you lied?
The Byrds - The Christian Life
http://s27.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1H63YTUT2LHBB3TTMEYGOQFZFK I like this song. There is no tongue and cheek attitude to it.
Keep em comin', I'm enjoying this side of the Byrds I never really listened to. :) |
So you lied?

What should I review?
The Who - My Generation |
What should I review?
The Who - Tommy |
Maybe Tommy, but definitley not for awhile.
|
*Jimi Hendrix is a very underrated singer.
edit: yes. ****it. Review Tommy. Somebody has to. |
Yes, Jimi is an uderrated singer. I was listening to Little Wing earlier and realized how nice his voice is. I'm also realizing how good a drummer Ginger BAker is
|
Maybe Tommy, but definitley not for awhile.
Sweet, you liked my recomendation :thumb: Maybe you should review Wheels of Fire |
Jimi could play lead well and sing well at the same time too. Just incredible. Thats something very few guys can do.
|
While I was playing some of Jimi's stuff, I felt that he was oddly held higher than others. I have a much harder time playing something by Duane Allman, Chet Atkins, etc.
Anyone else feel the same? His stuff if really fun to play though. |
Featured Song: Grateful Dead - Pride of Cucamonga
http://s18.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2T3QELWXTAVEO0BHSL2624YUZS I really like this song. Phil Lesh takes lead vocals and had wrote the song, and does a great job. The Country vibe really drags me in, and the pedal steel in the background is very interesting. Country Rock at its finest, in my opinion. |

I can play most of the studio versions of his songs, but he just goes crazy live. He is a master of improvisation. He can make even the ugliest sounds beautfiul. He was just an extremely uniuqe talent. |
I wish I was as skilled as Jimi is on guitar :upset:
|
Well, I'm not saying he's not fantastic (He is unbelievably good, and posses talents that other guitarist don't have), but I was playing "Power To Love" on my friends Guitarport (I believe that's its name) and everything was beautifully written, but it wasn't as difficult as many make it out to be. And I'm not trying to say I'm a great guitarist, but I'm sure some of you feel that way.
