The new Clipse is FRESH
it's seriously so good.

Electrocution 12-17-2006 05:44 PM

it's kind of a trip since i used to be into them when i was like 14. i never thought they'd actually have a decent follow up to Lord Willin'...let alone one that's a candidate for best of the year.

IhateUsernames 12-17-2006 05:49 PM

it's better than lord willin'.

metalicajaymz 12-17-2006 06:01 PM

Lord Willin' didn't really impress me aside from the singles. HHNF is far better and a lot more intelligent.

hahha

IhateUsernames 12-17-2006 06:03 PM

yeah lord willing has some great tracks, but not enough of them.

metalicajaymz 12-17-2006 06:06 PM

lack of low end on HHNF though. That's the biggest flaw.

Electrocution 12-17-2006 06:11 PM

Lord Willin' had a lot of good songs, but a few i can't stand which really take away from it overall. i'm pissed that Baby is a guest, even if he is on a remix of Grindin' way at the end. HHNF doesn't have as low of low points and has better beats I'd say.

pixiesfanyo 12-17-2006 07:48 PM

The Clipse is so ****ing bad, what's up with people whoring them?

They're pretty much the best coke MCs out there. But then again, when the competition is the lyrical equivalent of a Special Olympics relay race, I guess that's not saying much.

i saw them in January. they put on a fun show but it was kind of disappointing. they didn't play any old stuff. it was all their new electro-pop dance stuff. the show eventually became a big scene kid dance-party.
