Britton 10-04-2005 12:02 PM

I don't know.

lightningmetal666 10-04-2005 12:02 PM

Oh, well (chu, correct me if I'm wrong) Australia was a province of England and was the place where they would send their criminals. Not sure how but they gained their independence and became their own country. (much like the U.S. :) )

And I still have more posts than you matt (:P)...

We'll get a better quality recording soon I hope. I'll upload then.
yeah right. Downpicking as much as you can builds up strength and helps with tremelo picking.
That's what Slapping Penguin tells me, he sort of explained it as the calm before the storm, if you get what I mean?

We're ahead of you a couple of hours, I'm posting this at 5:00am, so whatever the time there is...

And we're not really an independant country, although we could be, the Queen really has nothing to do with Australia (And hasn't for the past ~80 years or so), but we're still a (member of the?) Commonwealth, and thus we heil the Queen too.

Ice Man 10-04-2005 01:17 PM

Father_Jack 10-04-2005 01:20 PM
hey who do you guys think is a better guitarist hammett or mustaine
This will never ever get resolved but personally all-round I prefer mustaine. But for solos I prefer Kirk.

Ice Man 10-04-2005 01:21 PM
just
true really amazing guitarist

Chu 10-04-2005 01:22 PM
well riff wise id go with hetfield solo wise id go with kirk even thuogh chris wasnt bad....
Who's chris?

Personally, I prefer Mustaine, his Lead work is better imo, his writing is better imo, and he's just generally a better guitarist imo (Plus he's so much more Metal looking then Hammett ever was :p).

lightningmetal666 10-04-2005 01:23 PM
hey who do you guys think is a better guitarist hammett or mustaine
You're new so I'll be nice. No more Mustaine vs. Hammett or Hetfield vs. Hammet or Mustaine vs. a ham sandwich plz. It just gets old and annoying.

you said imo like 100 timse. And riff wise mustaine kicks the crap out of hammet, solo's...err I have to say hammet is probably better. Imo.

I don't know, its the lesser of 2 evils. On the one hand, you have kirk who's all like "Dude, mellow out we got some surfing to do.", and "Come on guys we got better things to do" << (SKOM DVD). But now Dave is all "I love God." and he's ginger :p

Especially since Hammett has an obsession with wearing cowboy hats.

Yeah, I was just trying to get the point across it was my opinion :p
I've been here long enough to know you savage bastards would jump on an opprunity to flame a Hammett hater :p

Mustaine would so beat the ham sandwich...

Depends on the type of ham really.

lightningmetal666 10-04-2005 01:26 PM

Oh, hell. Fine. Mustaine is the better riffer but Kirk kicks his @$$ at soloing. Most ppl here have the same opinion.

And mustaine would tear through a ham sandwich faster than a chainsaw through a body.

I was thinking cured, but whatever turns you on.
what did you guys think of some kind of monster?
I thought it was cool, and I also thought that James acted like a real dick most of the time. Best part was easily where Kirk gets pissed when Lars says no solos. "You know what's bullshit?! No solos is bullshit"

Jev 10-04-2005 03:23 PM

Mayeb Chu is some 70 year old who lives for Metallica.

Chu 10-04-2005 03:35 PM

I'm 19? I've been a fan of Metallica for 7/8 years. My 11th Birthday or near there, my older brother gave me Ride The Lightning as a present (He was moving away and just gave me his old CD, he's 10 years older then me).

Metallica has been in my family for a while :D

Britton 10-04-2005 03:37 PM

I've seen E'm once. it was great they started with Blackened
Rob had this badaas solo (where he spun areound in circles)
Kirk had two really nice solos they played bleeding me jump in the fire
dirty window and a lotta other stuff. all in all it was almost three hours.

Alright guys, this is probably one of the corniest things to ever happen, ever, but I need some help.

I'm in this web design class (easy A) and were supposed to make a menu for a restaurant that has a theme about something we like. I chose Metallica, and the food items have to be Metallica related. I came up with a few, but I need more. Try and come up with some Metallica foods I can put in place of the non-Metallica related ones I already have.

Appetizers
Newsted Nachos - $5.99
Chicken Strips Platter - $5.99
Hammett's Vegetarian Hawaiian Platter - $4.99
Soups
Burton and Cheese - $2.99
Chicken Noodle - $2.99
Chicken Corn Chowder - $2.99
Salads
Roman Chicken - $3.99
Roadhouse Ranch - $3.99
Chicken Caeser - $3.99
Entrees
The Hetfield Hamburger - $5.99
Lars Lasanga - $1,999.99
The Kirk Hammett Burrito - $5.99
Desserts
Sundae - $3.99
Cake - $3.99
Cookies - $1.99

lightningmetal666 10-04-2005 06:50 PM

How about stuff like

Heavy Metal Grinder-$5.99
Enter Sandwich-$6.99 (price rose due to overdemand)
The Call of Tomato soup-$2.99
Ride the Lettuce Salad-$3.99
Kill 'em All brownies-.75 (they're killer!!!!)
Whiplash fruit punch-$1.09

Try using stuff like that
