I have a Yamaha sax, cost about £700 or something. I did a few grades then stopped, and focused more on drums.

I'm trying to convince my parents to let me sell it, to fund building an electric kit for when I go to uni.

I might post audio, once I figure out how to stop making the comp mic make it sound like an electric guitar.

It's probably a YAS-52, which was the best intermediate horn on the market back in the day. You'll only get about £350 for it if you sell it.
